Direct debit change, alternative energy

Dominic understood my concerns and made a quick adjustment to my monthly payments in line with my current usage. I explained that being in a rural and 18th century context ALL of the offers on cheaper energy did not apply to me e.g, solar panels, heat pumps, smart meter etc. he replied that Octopus has a priority on new builds that I totally understand but requested that Octopus look at alternative energy supply to rural homes that cannot use these. I suggested that this should be reviewed and volunteered my property as a testing site. I'm optimistic?

Yet again after submitting a review I…

Yet again after submitting a review I received a bog standard auto reply to my complaint. I contacted them directly and again have received a total blank and ignorance to my request to investigate why they have lost a year's worth of meter readings and are not treating me in accordance with Ofgems vulnerable customer policy. Yet again absolutely abysmal customer service and total silence

Abysmal service

Abysmal service, account did not show any of my usage for nearly a year. 3 requests to ask for an update on my account were ignored. Requested an electrical check because bills were extremely high, all refused. Then told they had lost all of my readings for over a year. Totally incompetent and I wouldnt touch them with a barge pole. Switching soonest.

Thanks for sharing your review of Bulb. I'm really sorry to hear that you have had issues with your billing. We always aim for the highest level of service, and it seems like you haven't experienced that.

If your billing is high and you suspect a meter fault, we would firstly ask you to call out an electrician to check your appliances as meters are very rarely faulty. The charge to have your meter checked is expensive and we would not want for you to pay this fee and to find that the meter isn't in fact faulty.

Once you call an electrician, if they find that your appliances are okay but suspect your meters may be an issue please ask for a written report and an invoice. If the electrician finds the fault to be with the meter we'll credit the charges for the electrician call out and replace your meter free of cost also - we would just need the report an the electrician invoice.

So that I can chase up an email response for you, please may you respond to the message that I have left for you below? Please allow 3-5 working days to receive a response.

Excellent quality glassware and engraving. Great that you sent through a draft design for approval. Good delivery time, safely packaged with cardboard and no sign of plastic or bubble wrap.

Unreasonable pressure

I was contacted whilst driving, despite my warnings that contact would be broken I have been misold added insurance products that I am not happy with and will be charged an admin fee if I cancel....I am waiting for paperwork to confirm what exactly I have been forced into buying
