Not what I expected!

I ordered the group photo specifically in the keepsake folder, as I didn’t want it rolled up in a tube. However, what I received was a tube containing the photo — with no folder — which completely defeats the purpose of my order.

When I contacted Tempest Photography, I was told that because the photo was over a certain size, it is automatically sent rolled up in a tube without the keepsake folder. This was never made clear on the product page, which is quite misleading. It does not state that the keepsake folder is only available for photos up to a certain size.

As a result, I’ve paid more for a format I didn’t want — a rolled-up photo that, over time, will inevitably crack and become damaged. I certainly won’t be ordering from Tempest again.

To make matters worse, they don’t offer a phone number for direct support — all communication has to go through email, which is slow and frustrating.

For our larger-sized group photographs we use a tube box presentation for protection and durability, rather than a folder as these larger prints are not suited to our standard keepsake folders. We do try to make this clear on our ecommerce site however we will pass your comments on to our marketing team to review how this is presented.

Please be rest assured that we use high-quality photographic paper designed to withstand being rolled. When stored or displayed correctly, there should be no cracking or damage over time.

We’re also sorry to hear you found email communication frustrating. While email allows us to keep a clear record of customer queries, we are always working on improving both our response times and the overall support experience.

Purchased a set of furniture

I purchased a set of furniture. The bedside tables, 4 drawers and dressing table are good value for money. However the 2 x wardrobes are not the best quality and although they look nice the build quality is very poor, i had to replace the rails as they were soft wood weren't very strong. I would not recommend the wardrobes.

I recently signed up for Klarna at the…

I recently signed up for Klarna at the recommendation of my partner, who mentioned a £20 credit to her account if I used the link she provided. However, I inadvertently signed up without using the specified link. Realising my mistake, I promptly called Klarna before placing an order.
Upon contacting them, I initially interacted with an AI bot. When I raised my concern, I was transferred to a customer service representative via chat. Regrettably, the response I received echoed the bot's message – essentially stating that I had made an error and there was little they could do. I found this lack of flexibility disheartening, especially considering I had promptly tried to rectify the mistake.
Disappointed by the customer service experience and feeling unappreciated as a customer, I have decided to cancel my Klarna account and opt for PayPal for my future transactions. It's unfortunate that a simple error couldn't be addressed more positively, and I hope Klarna considers enhancing their customer service approach to better accommodate users in similar situations

Would buy from CFS again

I recently furnished my home with CFS, overall it was a pleasurable experience. Their website offers a great mix of modern and timeless designs, not forgetting the best prices too as I always shop around. After an initial problem with delivery they called and apologised and sorted it out to my satisfaction which is why I would buy from them again. I would have no hesitation in recommending CFS.

Not one I would recommend

Received a text to say they were delivering an item I had ordered in a few days and as I wasn't going to be in I called them and told them that and asked the person to confirm they understood. However, got an email the next day saying they were going to bring it the next day so I called and emailed them again, telling them I wouldn't be in. Lo and behold I got a call when I was out saying they were outside the house! They then asked if they could leave a 1400mm double radiator with my neighbour, I said no as it was too heavy. Then after all this got a phone call on Sunday morning at 8.30 am, 3 days later asking if would I be in after the last failed delivery! You couldn't make it up. I think Best Heating who I used should use another courier as Furdeco has put me off ordering anything from them again. Shame as the 2-man delivery company who eventually turned up, the 'one' person who came was a polite chap.

Not a company I would buy from again

I was impressed by the Roland FP-10 piano and decided to buy one. I shopped around, as you do, and saw a good value bundle advertised on DV247. Having never played the piano before I was excited to receive the piano, stand, and earphones. Unfortunately, my excitement was short-lived. The piano was great (hence the 2 stars) but the stand was utterly useless as it was a stand for someone who stands up! So unless you were 8 feet tall, sat on a stool, or had a boil on your bum the piano stand wasn't any use. I was disappointed so I contacted DV247 and awaited their reply before I wrote this review. They were not sympathetic or apologetic and didn't offer an alternative at all, apart from saying that you can tell by looking at the picture it is a stand that you would have to play the piano standing up?? Have a look at the picture that has no dimensions on it and see what you think. The stand that should have come with the bundle was a stand that you could lower enough so you could sit comfortably at the piano to play it. DV247 didn't offer to replace it or offer a discount on to buy stand. In this day and age, I believe after-sales service is extremely important, it's not just about selling stuff to the unsuspecting public but an overall experience. My point is, don't put something in a bundle to sell the main item so it gives the impression you are getting a better deal when really you are not. To put a stand in the bundle 'not fit' for playing the piano is like buying a chocolate fireguard, pointless. I'd personally avoid this company in the future as I have dealt with many companies over the years that offer excellent after-sales service and will do anything to keep their customers happy so they recommend them to their friends and family. It appears DV247 is not really that bothered and in this day of competitiveness I think that's a big mistake. A replacement stand would have probably cost DV247 about ten quid ($12 dollars) yet they would rather you write a review such as this. than offer a satisfactory solution to a relatively minor complaint. This tells me a lot about a company so I know where my business will go in the future, how about you?

From the quote to the job being completed I can honestly say I was impressed by George and his team. They respected my property, turned up on time, cleaned up after they had finished and came back to sort out a couple of minor issues without question. SHARK BY NAME SHARKS BY NATURE - BUYERS BEWARE!

I was advised via email on 1st December 2021 that DPD would collect my faulty hoover Friday 3rd December 2021 between 9am and 5pm. After waiting in all day I then received an automated email at 15.41 on 3rd to advise that due to an unexpected issue DPD were unable to collect and this was rearranged for 6th December 2021. I was very annoyed to receive an email so late in the day when clearly DPD must have known far earlier that they were not collecting.

For a second time I waited in on Monday 6th December and around 1.00pm I had a gut feeling that yet again the collection would not take place so I rang customer services department and spoke to Anna for a total of 27.19 minutes and she advised me that she could find no record of any collection and she would need to rearrange for the 3rd time for 7th December. I was very frustrated as yet again I had waited in for nothing and I requested this to be escalated to their complaints department.

I waited in on 7th December for the 3rd attempt and finally the hoover was collected at 14.34 in a plain white van no DPD signage. Then to my surprise a second attempt to collect was made at 15.57 by a different person and I advised him that the collection had already taken place.

I have now been unable to hoover my house for over two weeks since my partner went through troubleshooting over the phone to no avail after being cut off initially and having to go back through the same information again. We were told a new part would be sent in 2 weeks and then we were advised to pack the faulty hoover back up and assumed a complete replacement would be sent out as I received a new order receipt ref when I spoke to Anna she advised that Shark would not despatch the replacement until they had received the faulty one back.

She said however she would speak to a manager to ask for approval for the replacement to be despatched and advised that this had been actioned and the new one to be sent in 24 to 48 hours.

I called again on 11th December and a guy in customer services said the replacement had been sent out and I would receive 14th/15th December.

I called again today 14th December and the ticket has been closed they don't know why so I am back to square one, no hoover for over 2 weeks, clearly lied to on 2 occasions after spending 2 hours on the phone. I WOULD NOT USE THIS COMPANY EVER AGAIN THEY ARE A DISGRACE AND TELL YOU LIES. BUY A DYSON OR VAX. They should be ashamed of themselves, their customer service stinks!!!!!!!!!!!

Worcester Bosch Combi Boiler Installation

Worcester Bosch Combi Boiler installation carried out by M&R Plumbing & Heating Ltd. Mick and his installation team did a fantastic job. All work was carried out to a high standard by professional and polite fitters. Mick also came around to our home after the installation to provide advice on how to use the phone app and get maximum efficiency out of the boiler. I would highly recommend.

I thought o2 were bad until I had to deal with three! The customers services team are absolutely useless. Their English is shocking. It's a bit light talking to 'fone jacker' with your internet providings!! They better the devil you know and that maybe right at least o2 seems to have some compassion.
