Buyer must read AND DON’T BUY FROM THEM, we purchased online and they sent us doors from howdens which were incorrect, and order refused, as this was not correct, they don’t answer the phones or emails just the blog Jon, then they state a £85.46 delivery charge was not refunded as Howden’s charge them a delivery however after checking with Howden’s this was not the case and it was free delivery as the error was the error of Johns doors. I get penalised for it what is an error of theres very confusing! the refund states paid in full on the refund page at johnsdoors however this is £85.46 short they now state is a transaction charge what are not a load of rubbish. We are in establish company and will be taking these court as I’ve just issued proceedings. If you are looking to purchase from this company, please don’t it’s very wrong and the communication is extremely shocking including when I speak on the chat. I screenshot all the conversation that Jon on the current communication states they have never said that even though I have screenshots of them saying that, I simply don’t know what they are thinking. i have trying to resolve it nicely now we’re heading to court please be aware. shocking service. The response is total lies and they sent the wrong doors and was not my mistake they have not refunded in full at all complete lies.wow they even put on my personal details what a shambles of a company and complete fraudsters

We thank you for your eloquent and detailed review and are very sorry to hear that you ordered the incorrect items online and that you were not happy with your order.
Despite your repeated attempts to gain access to our suppliers accounts and billing information your order was refunded in full with no shipping or restocking charges etc. to our regular returns address.
As previously explained in detail with our chat assistant Jon, your purchase contract at the time of order was adhered to and any delivery charges are non refundable after dispatch of goods.(which you can view again here if required https://www.davesdoors.co.uk/cancellations-refunds-and-returns-policy-97-c.asp) Cancellations before dispatch are free of any charges, also explained in the above contracts.

As explained previously we use independent couriers over large transport distributors inline with our Eco (Forestry Commission timber products) and emmisions goals. In light of this we find that although there are advantages to the independant, individuals do still charge for their services.
We hope this is now a little clearer for you to understand in regards to your discussions with Jon and wish you all the best with your redevelopment.
