Booking was no problem BUT be aware if you have an issue with the property you will get no support from Sykes they will support the owner their client, and disregard your word and photographs. (Apparently the ants on the photo did not constitute an infestation, ever tried asking an ant to pose for a photo?) By choosing to leave the property early we did not allow the owner time to address the problem. Would you have stayed somewhere that ants fell out of your hair whilst you were reading? Have used this company a number of times and never had a problem. Been made to feel like a liar and I will not be using them again.
Further to the response from Sykes Cottages, as we stated where exacted you expect us to go whilst the issue was sorted? Given the curtains were covered as was the sofa? We were NOT offered any options

Thank you for your feedback; I'm sorry to hear of your experience. I can confirm that the owner attended the property to investigate and several times since and has found that there did not seem to be an issue with ants but would have tried to assist you had you given them a chance. It is very difficult to resolve any situation when the owner is not allowed the opportunity.
Again, I am very sorry you felt the only option was to leave, this is not what we want for any of our customers.

Fast accurate information and plenty of choice. Easy to navigate to get what you require at reasonable price.
My renewal from Direct Line came in at 68% more than previous year for no changes?! A quick surf of Money supermarket saved me not only the increase but £60 less than last year for the same cover.
