However my policy has increased from £30 to £90 in 2 years , and now my pet is 8 yrs old I only get 80% back of each claim

We are glad to know you are happy with your chosen policy and the speed in which we have processed your claims.
A number of different risk factors are taken into consideration when annually reviewing our premiums, which include, but are not limited to: a pet’s age and breed, any health conditions associated with the breed, where the pet is living and vet fees in that area, as well as any claims history.
For all of our policies for dogs over the age of 8, and cats over the age of 10, a co-payment is applied. This means that we would look to pay 80% of the claimable costs, less your excess, and you would be responsible for the remaining 20%.
Applying a co-payment allows us to continue providing comprehensive cover for senior pets whilst also keeping our premiums as low as possible.
