Excellent website from which to purchase replacement keys that is backed up by an efficient service to post them - First Class product and service

Martins Basingstoke had my car to do the diagnostics for an engine warning light on the dashboard - the car was under an extended warranty.

I was very dissapointed that in my circumstance that the warranty did not cover the diagnostic check and I had a bill for £199 (incl VAT) for their report.

My perception is that the Service Department have a focus on revenue generation and not the customer experience (as an example, strongly advising me to also replace the front tyres that have 4mm of tread left and the engine oil needed 'topping up' at a cost of £93.24).

I will struggle to take out another extended warranty or to use the Service Department at Martins Basingstoke again.

A note to say that following a telephone meeting with Steve Wraight (a senior private medical insurance adviser), I was able to switch my health insurance provider and save about 30% on the insurance premiums - in addittion the new policy has better coverage than my previous one!

Steve has very good product knowledge and excellent communication skills - it has been a pleasure to have his help and support with my switching health insurance providers.

The engineer that undertook the garage door repair (Vince), was very courteous, knowledgeable, efficient and did an excellent job with replacing the 'wires and cones' for the 'up and over' door and ensuring smooth running of the door in the tracks - full marks to him.

Outside of the engineer's control was the quotation and negotiating the price for the work to be done - I would be pleased to give 5 Stars if there was greater transparency with the pricing.

This was my first experience with using Carwow and it was very positive - All communication with them was excellent - the listing was straightforward, the car sold very quickly (above the reserve) and subsequent text dialogues to ensure the purchaser was pro-active with the car collection and payment (big shout out to Victoria for her diligence).

The only negative element was the purchaser going over the car with a fine tooth comb looking for blemishes (which are only natural for a 12 year old car) and haggling over the price that they would be prepared to pay.

To be fair, Carwow were very supportive of me.

I placed an online order, the prices were very competitive and they arrived very promptly - altogether fab' service.

Very simple order process using the on-line capability.

The order fulfilled promptly.
