Telephoned to ask a pension question

Telephoned to ask a pension question. On hold for 30 minutes after answering the inane robotic questions. Someone eventually answered because I could hear the birds tweeting in their garden they were in but didn’t speak and put the phone down after a minute. I suggest someone from company audits their customer service calls to see who is the jokers sitting in their garden and not bothered to work.

Excellent advice for buying walking shoes…

I went to buy a pair of walking shoes today and had excellent help from the chap working in that section called Anthony. He went through the shoes in great detail and gave advice on what shoes would suit what type of walking. It was much appreciated and he is a credit to the store.

Delivery cancelled on the day of delivery

I have ordered a tumble dryer through the website. I knew it was out of stock but was willing to wait. I got a text message through last Saturday to say stock was in and my delivery would arrive on Sunday 12/12. I then got another text on the Friday to say its coming. I then got a text on Saturday 11/12 to say its coming between 7am-11am. I then get a phone message left at 8am on the Sunday 12/12 to say delivery cancelled! I phone up to find out whats going on. The first assistant hang up on me. The second assistant said the stock had not arrived hence my order cancelled. Why do they tell you delivery is coming when they dont even have stock! Had to cancel all my plans for Sunday to wait in, then doesnt come. Very disappointed.

Quoted but cant pay

Got a decent quote from them following the link from Moneysupermarket only to find that after checking and completing some more confirmation checks on Admiral website that when I came to pay, it came up with an error and a message to ring support desk. Rang and explained the issue which then turned into a detailed process of checking EVERYTHING i had already provided and loads more detail!! After 15 minutes and wanting to know the exact model and brand of my bicycle I gave up.

The splashbacks look great but the…

The splashbacks look great but the delivery time was way off what I was told. Think it took about 2 months in the end with a lot of chasing up emails and calls. A shame as we have had some nice comments about how unusual they look but I couldnt recommend the company.

In response to reply, there was no issue with any damage for the splashbacks on arrival, the complaint was the fact it took from 18th September to eventually deliver on December 5th. I had to constantly email to get order updates as there would be no response from your side. Must have emailed about 20 times with a constant reply of "checking with production manager" and no follow up reply!

I wish I had read these reviews before…

I wish I had read these reviews before ordering from this company. Similar experience. Ordered lights in September. Chased via email only to be told to wait. Only just got them 50 days later. One of my orders was missing so I asked and was told apparently it had been refunded a few days after my order. Didnt bother to tell me!! Absolutely useless.

Companies like this ruin Christmas

I ordered a board game from this company over a week ago as needed it for Christmas. Website showed in stock, order confirmation came through to say delivery in 2 days. Great, all ready for Christmas present.
Next, i spot an email 2 days later cancelling with no reason as to why. Told I would get a refund which I still haven't received. So they take money and dont refund straight way. I would like that money in my account, especially as I now have to order present from another site which looks like postage wont arrive until after Christmas. Will have a disappointed grandson Christmas day. Thanks alot!
I wont use this site again and recommend others dont use them.

BT are absolute rubbish

Whatever you do, do not switch to BT. I was given a date of 4th may for my broadband activation and got given excuse after excuse for so many delays. Did not get connected until 4 weeks later on 1st June. Customer service has been poor, I have been passed from adviser to adviser, no one ever calls me, I have to do the chasing of updates and no one ever advise you on what the customer complaints process is. They just try to palm you off all the time. Avoid BT like the plague.

Top notch PC and great service from Quiet PC

I bought a Serenity Mini Gamer from Quiet PC and have had it for about 2 weeks now. Its working brilliantly and handling my games perfectly.
The ordering process was easy and I was very pleased with how Quiet PC handled a website error. Using the Quiet PC website configurator there was no option to select motherboard. Assuming it came as standard I proceeded with the order. Quiet PC contacted me to say that the motherboard was not on the order and could I add it to the order. I looked and this was going to cost me more money which I was not happy about as I had a tight budget. I wrote back and explained what I had seen on their website configuration and Quiet PC took responsibility for the error and I was not charged any extra. Very pleased with that!
The PC was due on a Friday but did not come on the day that it was meant to but this was due to Parcelforce not dispatching from their depot, not Quiet PC. So a slight disappointment there as had taken a day off work to wait in for it. But it arrived on Saturday, I set it up and its been great since then.
