My wife had a cataract operation done this week...the standard of service by the staff was excellent and the medical care first class. Everything was explained beforehand and the after care instructions were easily understandable. Ten out of ten for Spa Medical.
Good to deal with a very polite guy to sort out travel insurance to USA..due to my situation in having a hospital outpatient appointment I was refused cover elsewhere despite the investigation being unlikely to be of significance. Avanti were able to provide cover (although not for pre existing conditions) for all other eventualities...Avanti appear to have an excellent reputation on Trust pilot so this gave me confidence that all will be well in event of an unforseen accident etc. However the proof of a good insurer is that they make claiming (which I hope is never needed) as easy as possible...they should have a claims only review section that everyone can see how claims are handled and paid out particularly for places such as USA which can be expensive rather than just reviews of sales of insurance per se.
Easy to navigate the questions....only thing to remember about all insurance companies is who are they underwritten by and how claims are handled and paid out...need more information on why the same cover varies so wildly between different companies...no sense at all from comparison sites..just costs.
They stopped pay at the pump so you have to go into the shop...which is so over stocked you can't hardly move. Also they seem to employ foreign staff whose accent is difficult to understand...Big mistake by Morrisons letting this lot take over....in future I'll go elsewhere. MFG totally driven by profit rather than good customer experience.
Useless return system on VERY...arranged large item return .online stating item was in garage (as its unreasonable to wait in 7am to 7pm on the off chance the driver turns up.) Sick of this useless service when things go wrong ...the chatbot assistant is useless too. Had to phone foreign call centre twice...Item was delivered damaged in the first place....why not use UK staff ...the VERY head office is 5 miles from me yet they use call centres in Africa???
I booked an airport minibus for Manchester airport..I was charged £124...the operator of the minibus firm told me if I had booked direct with them it was £76. Bit of a rip off or what.? I complained but they refused a partial refund. My daughter and her family needed the airport transfer the next day or I'd have cancelled. Beware.
I tried to phone the Liverpool store in Church Street...I eventually found a number online...by the time I got through I got an African call centre??? This happens all the time...I just wanted to phone the store...I gave up...why the heck can't they just answer the phone????
Too many suspicious positive reviews....I may be wrong but awful companies seem to have 5 star reviews along side 1 star...eg beds.co.uk Are the positive ones always genuine? Clarification needed imo. Either way if you are thinking of using beds.co.uk read the negative reviews...sadly I didn't....luckily I was refunded by PayPal...
