I have a GPS Tracker on my vehicle

I have a GPS Tracker on my vehicle. Throughout the free period I did at times get push notifications but the app would often reset and switch them off. I paid for the professional subscription and now I don’t receive any push notifications ever. Support switched my account to email notifications and I’m not getting them either. They are taking the issue up with the developer apparently but no one is getting back to me or keeping me updated. Disappointing.

Thank you for your feedback, and we’re sorry to hear about the trouble you’ve experienced with notifications.

We’ve tested push notifications on iOS, and they are working correctly on our devices, so the issue may be specific to your setup. Reinstalling the app can sometimes resolve these kinds of problems, so we’d recommend trying that.

For email notifications, these were enabled in mid-September. Our system shows that the last email sent to your account was for a motion alert on 25/09/2025 – this was the only time your vehicle has moved since 18/09/2025.

Just to clarify, motion alerts are only triggered when the vehicle itself is moving (i.e., the GPS location changes), not when a door is opened or unlocked.

We currently offer three types of notifications:

Push notifications (free, set up on your device)
Email notifications (free, set up in the app or web platform)
SMS alerts (require SMS credits; we generally recommend push or email instead, as these are free)

If you’re still not receiving notifications after reinstalling the app, please reach out to support again so we can continue investigate.

I ordered a pair of waterproof trousers at a good price. Very good communication from Nicky and delivered quickly. Unfortunately they didn’t fit as they were too big but I was refunded quickly. Nice company to deal with.

I ordered a raincoat which incurred a…

Update: the company requested my details after leaving a review. Do they have so many complaints that they couldn’t identify me? Well going by the negative reviews complaints all seem to centre around excessive postage and return fees. All complaints also receive the same cut and paste response. Instead of wasting their time tracking down reviewers and posting responses maybe they should review their return policy or are they hoping that on cheaper orders customers opt to keep the item rather than incur the hefty return fee?

I ordered a raincoat which incurred a £3.99 shipping fee. The raincoat was unsuitable so I had to return it which incurred another £3.99 shipping fee. I will never order from this company again. Two stars for prompt refund minus £7.98 shipping fees. An expensive mistake I won’t make again.

Happy overall

I bought a skirt in the sale and with discount. I contacted the company through chat about sizes and got an instant and very helpful response. The skirt arrived quickly in a small cardboard box which was good as I don’t like over packaging. I like the skirt and am keeping it. It is long and I might do something about the length. Overall I’m happy with the service and item. No complaints.

Destroying the environment

Most of their clothes are made of polyester which is bad for your skin and the environment. I tried to cancel my order when I discovered the 95% polyester content but no-one replied. I paid postage for delivery and now have to pay more postage to return. Won’t order from this company again.

Going round in circles

I ordered prescription medicine for my dog. I attached a recent vets prescription. Time passed and I received an email saying the prescription said multiple pages and they couldn’t process it till I sent the other page. There was nothing on the second page but I sent it anyway. I received confirmation of this and that my prescription would be processed. Weeks passed. I emailed to get an update. I got an email saying I needed to send the second page. I emailed and said I did. Got a reply saying my prescription was being processed. No specific date given. I feel like I’m going round in circles. What a shambles!!!

Shambolic

I arranged to send a parcel using Parcel2go. The courier was Evri. I got an email from them saying the parcel was being returned to me and it would take about two weeks till I received it back to me. Obviously I was very upset by this. Later today I got an email from Evri saying it had been delivered to the address I sent it to with proof of delivery. So I have no idea why Parcel2Go sent me the email.

Terrible customer Service

I ordered a large heavy gong stand which arrived in very bad condition with a very unstable leg and multiple dings, dents and splits in the wood. I needed the stand and continue to need it urgently. Customer service accept the poor quality as evidenced in photos. They tell me there is only one stand left in stock so I better pay for that one whilst I return the damaged one gets returned. When they receive it I get refunded. So out of pocket nearly £200 for who knows how long. When I pointed this out along with the issue that I need it now, I got an email saying well just return it and get a refund then reorder…and maybe the only available stand will still be for sale and maybe you will receive it in the foreseeable future. Why can’t they just deliver the stand and collect the one that is only fit for fire wood? 🤷‍♀️

No quality control

I bought a large wooden gong stand. It was easy to order and communication was good. However the item arrived today and I extremely disappointed with the quality. The foot of one leg is practically falling off, the wood is split and chipped in places and there is a large sticky patch around one of the legs as if a label had been attached. The wood is damaged in this area. I needed the stand in a hurry so will just have to repair it as best I can but I’m not a happy customer.

Confusing and confused!

Klarna constantly muddles up orders and customer service is staffed by people who have no idea what they are doing and have difficulty understanding issues. They just guess from a list of copy and paste responses which often don’t match the issue raised. Should an issue arise with a seller they side with the seller.

Scam sellers

Terrible. Etsy seems to support scam sellers and make it very difficult to have any recourse when things don’t work out. After receiving an item which was not as described the seller told me in a rude manner to take it up with Etsy. They knew the buyer has no comeback and that Etsy would do nothing. Etsy did admit that the item was not as described and that the seller had provided incorrect information but told me to take it up with Klarna. They said they would provide the information to Klarna. Well obviously they didn’t. Avoid Etsy and avoid The Pine Torch.

Terrible customer service from someone…

Terrible customer service from someone called Jill who is apparently an ER Nurse by day. I wrote to the company via Etsy expressing dissatisfaction with a product. This is Jill’s very unhelpful response which I received:
“ Wow this roast of the product is so entertaining I think you should create your own deck. And you can have lawyers draw up disclaimers for each card lest someone be offended. The size measurements of the deck are listed on the description, along with a thorough description of the product. Feel free to reach out to Etsy at any point with your triggers. Have a nice day.”
Triggers? 😅. The deck itself has nice art but the description of the product is misleading. In the heading for the deck it refers to tarot three times and oracle twice. In no way is it a tarot set and really makes a mockery of tarot. One card advises to eat “chicken nuggets” which it describes as the “holy grail for toddlers and adults alike”🤷‍♀️. Funny? Not really.

Good range of products and very responsive customer service. Unfortunately the delivery time is slow. It wasn’t clear to me that the items actually come from outside the UK. Also returning an item is a very slow process. I’m still waiting for a refund. Unfortunately this puts me off ordering again.
