Great customer service

Great customer service, had an issue with our toilet seat but despite being almost 3 years old Liam Foster in customer service arranged for a complete new toilet seat to be sent free of charge…couldn’t really ask for more…thanks!

Issues Second Time Running

The process is easy and good value and the fitters were helpful…however, this is the second time in a row now that a tyre has gone flat after fitting and I’ve had to take the car back for a new valve / refitting! I can’t help but think that there is a bit of pressure on the guys and jobs are being done too quickly with lack of care…

Scammers / Fraudsters....either way please don't give them your business. Be Warned.

Ordered a gate, waited for 10 weeks now and nothing has materialised. Stopped answering emails. No sign of the gate we ordered. Like so many others on here, the same experience. Why have Trading Standards not intervened after years of this company behaving like this? Starts with the predictable made up ETA's, then shipping issues...etc. etc. Still showing ETA as 1 week on Website. Another Section 75 Credit Card Claim...will never touch this company again...they deserve to go under...

Very Unhappy Indeed! Not a Good Experience.

Had our professional floor installers round today to fit the flooring we ordered a few months back now.
Realised fairly quickly that of the 20 packs of engineered flooring 12 were the correct product and 8 were a completely different product.
Called up customer services and was asked to send in pictures. Happy to do this as any person could see the boards were completely different when placed next to each other.
But no, to our utter disbelief we were told the wood was a "natural product" and that the "colour variation was within tolerance"!! How is it possible that there is no variation with 12 of the packs and 8 are so varied that the colour and grain is completely different...really?
We noted that the 8 rogue packs had a new sticker placed over the top of another sticker that had a different product description on it! Further even the product code on the back of the incorrect boards was different!
Utterly flabergasted...honestly appalled...the boards are nothing like each other....I only wish I could put pictures up here that I sent to them.
They finally agreed to take the product back but the return states "We reserve the right to refuse refund on any item that we deem unfit for re-sale". Clearly we have opened a few packs before we realised the issue and we are yet to have in writing that these will be refunded as well...!
So despite clear evidence, a professional floor installer stating he had seen nothing like this before, UK Flooring Direct still refuse to accept responsibility.
Will never touch this company again after this experience. Good customer service would have immediately offered to replace the order and take back the defective product! Why should I have to argue on the phone with clear evidence behind me and still be told I am wrong! Unbelievable....!
Update: Revised upwards to 2stars as to be fair I was contacted after this review with an apology and they have agreed to refund entire order, although remarkably still state that the product is a match! It didn't have to be this difficult in the first place though...

Please Avoid These Charlatans...

Not sure how this company has attained a 4+ rating, from my experience I would advise anyone to avoid this company at all costs!

It is clear they are taking orders without being able to fulfil them. "Next Day Delivery" it states on the website....8 weeks on and we are still waiting on our gates. Completely despicable and dishonest behaviour.

Like others on here we have been led a merry dance with fictitious tracking numbers and inconsistent information and indeed we feel some blatant untruths. "I can confirm it has been shipped"...only to be told a week later "we have nothing in stock so nothing could have been sent"....

We have had enough and are claiming a full refund via a cash back claim on our credit card under the consumer credit act.

Companies like this one should not be allowed to trade like this and get away with it! Total greed in trying to take more orders than they can fulfil....

The response below is a complete fabrication! Makes me mad....we have phoned them about a dozen times...they don't have the stock, they make up stuff about it being sent etc. Complete and utter liars...a strong word to use but absolutely accurate in this case!

Appalling Experience!

An utterly dreadful and stressful experience. Shoddy poor quality product, backed up by non-existent customer service!

We ordered a Billyoh summerhouse from this company (basically a marketing arm of Billyoh). The one star is for delivery on time...but from there everything headed South.

We have two engineering degrees between us and even those were fairly useless in the face of:

- Shambolic and disorganised parts lists
- Instruction manual wrong in many places. Called up to question it to be told "ah, yes it's beed reported but nothing has been done about it!"
- No check of shipped parts against what should be included (a basic surely)
- No quality control whatsoever
- Missing parts (typically from the sub frame which was the first things we needed)
- Guttering option was melted and out of shape with broken brackets
- Many joints cut completely incorrectly requiring much remedial work with jigsaw/chisel
- Many parts utterly sodden with water, clearly had been sitting out for months in my view. Significant weathering had occurred to all the window frames with rusty screws etc.
- Non-existent customer service...we are still waiting on replacement parts some 3 weeks later...
- it goes on....

Just a dreadful experience. Would avoid this organisation at all costs. Much the same experience as many others I'm afraid. "buy british" and sadly this is what you get these days.

4-6 hours to assemble...hahahahahahahaaaa...think it was a miss-print...meant to say days/months!

I would say to others who have had no such luck with a refund, use your consumer rights and reclaim under Section 75 if you paid with a credit card!

No doubt someone from the company will be along shortly to say "we have no record of your order, please use the online portal..." blah...

We have posted all the above on their bloomin portal with pictures etc. Nobody really cares...slow response and not a chance of any compensation...

Please just take your business elsewhere...be warned!

Worst Customer Service Ever...

So David Lloyd sent an email in March indicating we could freeze our family membership for as long as we liked due COVID.

They then decided they would change their mind and decided that they would go back on their word and make us pay full fees from October.

Trying to contact them has been impossible, ages to respond to email and nobody can help or take a pragmatic approach. Only time they contact you is to try and take payment for “arrears”.

We cancelled our Direct Debit so they could not steal further money from us. We have also taken legal advice which indicates David Lloyd varied the terms of the contract when they offered freeze for free which we accepted. They cannot then vary it back without consent. We await a debt collection letter and will defend robustly in court if required....hopefully this helps others.

We think it was reasonable that we did not want to return with our family as we did not feel safe being in a high tier area but David Lloyd would rather try and force us to return. Not an underestimate to state they are the worst company I have ever dealt with. We will not pay another penny to them and won’t be returning!

Good Price and On Time Delivery

Very happy with the service. Matched the best price I was offered elsewhere (beat it by a few £) and was a hassle free process with vehicle delivered on the date requested. All done via online portal to keep track of documents. Maybe the design of the portal could be slightly better and a little less clunky but a minor gripe in what was an otherwise smooth transaction. Would not hesitate to use again.

Good Service But Clothes Getting Cheaper Made

No complaints with the service and good website. I order polo shirts from Superdry most years and every year the quality seems to reduce!! For example last year I noticed the shirts becoming noticeably thinner, this year the velvet trim has gone from the detail round the collar....etc. Still good quality compared to other products but much more reduction in quality and they won't be worth the money....It's a similar experience to food manufacturers shrinking their products to save money....

Fast shipment, the jacket arrived within a couple days as described and well packed. The fit was not quite right sadly and I sent back for a refund which was processed on the same day as receipt. Was not hesitate to recommend based on this experience and would happily use again.
