Worst service in the world
First, the driver sent me a message saying my 8pm delivery would be 2-3 HOURS late (making it midnight). Then, as I saw him in his van outside my building he REFUSED to deliver my order because he couldnt find my door. I pointed him towards two happy, smiling concierges who were more than happy to assist but he said they didn’t know where the flats are (which is a lie...). I also kept saying that I m here, standing in front of you, showing you where I live but he just drove off. I spoke to my concierges - of course they know where we love and we’re happy to pass on this information. I took a video of the end of tbe conversation (because no one would believe it otherwise!) and sent it to Ocado. They didn’t care and laughed saying it was just too ridiculous. They took it as a funny joke and not as ruining our evening. It was only my second OCADO delivery and definitely my last. the first one was late. I tried to call OCADO but after 15 minute wait for the next available customer service representative I simply gave up.
Unfortunately I had to call again as I have been promised a redelivery the same evening which never arrived. The customer service person said he will call me right back, delivery is coming. Two hours later it took further further 35 minutes on hold listening to garbage like “it is so quick to order everything with one click”. It doesn’t mention that while it might be easy to order online, getting the delivery seems to be impossible! So far I have spent 3 hours trying to deal with it - thank you for taking my money and ruining our evening and tomorrow’s morning when I have to take my 8 weeks infant son to go supermarket shopping instead of having a nice family breakfast. Eventually I have been told (after 35 minutes of being on hold) that the customer rep who was dealing with my order who was supposed to call me back 2 hours ago has gone home. Just like that. No one cared. No one told me I should stop waiting. And so they just said they will rearrange my order for another day like nothing happened. Really? So I can go through this all over again?! No thank you.
Honestly - if you think Ocado is a premium service - think again. It is by far the worst customer service I have ever received: driver too lazy to unload the shopping, customer customer service rep forgetting to deal with my case and another one laughing at us. Really, truly, appalling.
If you value your time - please please please avoid Ocado as the drivers are rude & the customer service inadequate.
Ocado keeps asking me for my email and post code but it leads no further and I feel like I have exhausted these options.
P.s. the driver has publicly threatened me with a lawsuit for sharing my opinion which is now incredibly distressing for us.
