Unprofessional and not customer focused

I will avoid using any company that use Yodel as a delivery service. Had no end of problems with Yodel leaving parcels unattended on my front door step in full view of the street and after complaining now they won’t leave parcels at all if I’m not there even though a safe place is available. For my last delivery I wasn’t even able to choose an alternative delivery day which is the first time I’ve had that. Maybe they didn’t like me complaining??

So far so good

Quick delivery and loved they could opt for having my old mattress removed at the same time. I have the mattress and got the duvet free which was an added bonus. Took me a few days to get used to the mattress and I did have to replace my pillows because they didn’t work with the mattress but so far worth the money

Poor delivery, poor customer service

Completely poor experience. Got a text to say my delivery would be on Monday - used the online facility to move it to Thursday - Thursday arrives and no delivery. Submit a question online to find out what is happening - no response but get a text to say delivery will be Friday. Use the online facility to specify place to leave the item - no delivery on the Friday. Send another online question to find out what was happening. On Monday morning parcel finally arrives. Then finally get a response to my on line question saying “we see you now have your delivery, it wasn’t delivered on Friday because you used the website to change it (only requested delivery to safe place NOT change in day) and if I had any other issues to take it up with the person who sent the parcel”. I may not have paid for the service but I certainly will never chose to use UKMail or recommend them to anyone due to their appalling delivery and rude customer service

doesnt accept consumers have rights!

I bought an expensive laptop 18 months ago - I didn't buy the insurance policy cause I knew I had rights under the sales of goods act. Very unfortunately don't seem to know this and don't offer any help in getting a problem resolved. As a result I'm going direct to apple and will then look to going through small claims to get the cost of repair back. Moral of this story? NEVER buy anything expensive from very and don't expect them to have an understanding of consumer rights even though other online retailers manage to!
