Recent Carpentery job

I have used Checkatrade for a recent carpentry job and my experience was great. I've only given 3 stars because a previous experience recommended a company who have basically ruined my home. I got an apology with some advice but as the company had gone into liquidation nothing could be done.

Made to order medications too early

Made to order medications way too early. My GP won't approve my requests and this seems to happen almost every time. We're told it takes 10 days to get prescriptions approved.

Good Afternoon Mrs Robinson,

Thank you for your review, I am sorry to hear your reminders are arriving to early.

Checking your account, I can see some incorrect reminders have been set, these have now been removed and you should only receive reminders bi-monthly.

Pharmacy2U do require patients to place requests for medication a full 10 working days before it is required, when doing so we do ask patients to consider the weekends and public holidays as we are non-operative over these periods, the timescales are to allow for the below.

2-3 working days for your GP to authorise the prescription, 1-2 working days for your medication to be dispensed and dispatched and 2-3 working days for Royal Mail to make delivery, the rest is to allow a buffer period, in case of any delivery delays or stocking issues.

Please keep in mind the reminders are not something that does need to be followed through.

Not many instructions

Not may instructions on how to use the accounts. I recently set up a prize account and didn't realise it set up an auto save from my non Chip linked bank account. It was set to 100% taking money out almost everyday. But no guidance could I find easily to turn it off. Had to use the help chat who take 2 days to respond.

Reasonably priced, awful instructions

Reasonably priced, fast delivery. My only issue was the horrendous instructions to assemble the bed. Pictures weren't clear and YouTube video was generic but specific and no verbal

Very helpful team

Very helpful team, full of advice. Showroom was so clean and tidy with great selection of new & used bikes. Dan's knowledge of bikes was great. Although we weren't ready to buy right now we left with loads of ideas for future bikes and how to go about it.

Over priced awful afternoon tea

The gardens are amazing and what a fabulous day out walking around and seeing everything. We booked afternoon tea at the Botanical restaurant to end our day. Well what an awful experience that was!! Freezing cold sandwiches on stale bread, selection of yukky tasting cakes and I'm sure one of them was a Mr Kipling chocolate slice. Scones were nice but very very small. Paid £35.50 each and it must only have cost about £5 to put together. I wanted to ask for a refund as it was that awful... don't bother with the cream tea people and if you want a glass of prosecco it'll be £9.50 on top of the ridiculous £35.50.

Had a replacement item delivered for a cabinet that went rusty but it was totally smashed when we took it out the box. Contacted customer services and Melissa reviewed my case and photos and issued another replacement item. Great service thank you Melissa

Very happy with customer service…

Very happy with customer service resolving my issue. I ordered live fruit fly culture however 4 times the lid has come off and ruined the package and contents. Have asked why the lid can't be taped down but 4 times I've been refunded. So no issue with the service, just don't know why a bit of tape is such an issue.

Shop around

Service was very good, item dispatched and trackable all the way through the process and arrived as expected. However, you do pay for delivery and I paid £29.95 for this Mira shower hose but found the exact same product at B&Q for £13. It was a genuine Mira product too. So shop around for the best price is my advice.

I placed an order on the 5th of April

I placed an order on the 5th of April, have tried on numerous occasions to get an update using the online form without any response at all. When I placed my order no delivery date was ever given to me so they can tell me all they like there's a logistics issue blah blah blah relating to the virus but from what date does the delay start? Rubbish customer service and if I do ever get my order I'll be amazed but expecting a sorry we can't fulfil it and offer a refund at the companies leisure since they've had my money since 5th April.
