Quick delivery. The product was easy to apply, attractive and seems effective.

Chris was the third pest control technician we've had at the house. All were polite and took the time to explain what they were doing. But there were important differences. Our first technician honed in on a single area of perceived infestation, treated it and left. It did little good and we soon saw more mouse activity and had to call for another visit.
The second, a senior technician, was more thorough but he left a large hole open (we actually saw a mouse climb through it), damaged two cabinets in replacing the plinths and didn't check outside the house or areas other than the kitchen. We saw reduced activity after his visit but the problem remained.
Chris was open about what could and couldn't be accessed and treated, recommended measures (like covering external brick vents) that could have been proposed from the start and was careful in removing and replacing the plinths. It's too early to report results, but I felt we made progress.
JG Pest Control are large and largely professional, though there is often just automated response to emails and it can take a while to get through on the phone. The engineers do seem experienced and well-trained for the most part but how thoroughly they do the job can vary.

Customer communications at loaf is enthusiastic, helpful and seeks to please. I removed one star as a pretty simple soft furnishing order took about a month and arrived with one item missing which seems to have been rectified the next day.

Poesie Veneziane make distinctive, high quality shoes. I have found the sizing a little tricky and had to return a couple of pairs that didn’t fit, but they are always very helpful and efficient.

The team at Someday designs were great from start to finish, sending fabric samples, providing information and following up. Our Rar Norman Copenhagen sofa is exaclty as pictured -- lovely, timeless design and super comfortable.

The colour is lovely, but the fit is definitely on the small side (I will wear on waist rather than lower) and the leather feels a little flimsy. It was also thinner than I expected.

Hard to ask for any more in a shoe, which is in a par with top designers that charge much more. I found the loafers ran large so took a half size down. Use the size guide on the website.
The leather is very soft and comfort almost akin to a trainer on the models with thicker soles.
Brexit administrative costs have made purchasing from the EU slower and costlier and returns more onerous. But in this case, the wait and hassle is worth it.

The shirt didn’t suit, but good experience.
Baukjen’s website is easy to navigate, delivery is prompt and the descriptions are mostly accurate. Unfortunately the fabric of the denim shirt I ordered felt a bit too stiff and I found it too wide in the body and sleeves so returned.

These wide-legged leather trousers are a great investment that work casually with trainers and a chunky knit or dressed up. The chocolate brown is a lovely hue and makes a nice change from black.
Well-made in an exceptionally soft leather and cut true to size, I found them a flattering fit and very comfortable.

I had deleted my Deliveroo app in frustration after a much anticipated large family order from a local Indian restaurant never arrived. Instead we were given someone else’s order which was substantially less and contained none of what we wanted. Deliveroo offered no remedy. The restaurant owner sounded exasperated; angry customers had been calling all evening with similar stories.
A Wagamama’s order (yes I reinstalled the app) arrived much later than I was told. Half the food was cold.
Deliveroo is expensive. It is only worth it if the service is reliable and fast and there is recourse when things go wrong.

We have ordered many time from Tennis Nuts and have always been happy with the quick responsiveness of service staff when we need it and the order turnaround time. However, we very frequently encounter a shortage of sizes or low stock in a lot of the junior tennis clothes, leading to disappointment. If they manage to get the supply right, it will be an unreserved 5-star rating.
