This is partially true. Apple imposes limitations when screen mirroring in 4k to prevent your phone from overheating. We did recommend using the free app called black magic camera so you can override this and film in 4k. If you want to use the native camera app, you will have to film in 60HD to avoid any lag, Hope this helps.
