So here's the deal, I've had an auto policy with Direct Auto for about 2 years. I found a much cheaper rate with State Farm. I call to cancel my policy with Direct Auto and they charge me $50.00 for a cancellation fee! Is this even legal? My policy was current and my next payment wasn't due for about 2 more weeks! I consider this nothing short of being crooked!
