Lovely location and grounds. Nice pool and the cottage had lots of space. Jacuzzi and BBQ area were lovely as was the lavender garden. Well equipped kitchen, and we were blessed with awesome weather.
But...the place was not the cleanest and on the first night we had to wash one of the duvet covers as it smelt of either BO or stale water. Not nice for my daughter. The cottage was infested with large spiders and I disposed of 80+ in the time we were there, doing daily sweeps of each bedroom. There has clearly been damp issues with the ceilings and you can smell it at times.
Due to only have one control, rather than the three needed, we couldn't use the DVD player or use a hard drive, so only Sky. Finally, the pool was nice but the shower room was not clean, stank and I have caught a foot virus from it!
Place could be first class but is a bit tired and attention to detail is missing.
