The staff at SS are wonderful. My mare rejected her foal quite soon after birth. After a horrible 48 hours of driving in all directions for artificial colostrum and then plasma, sedating the mare to draw milk, I gave in and decided to bottle feed the foal under vet instruction and approval. SS sent the foal milk almost immediately and every week I make an order it’s posted within a few hours. If there are any problems they email and keep me up to date. I can’t thank them enough for taking some of the weight off my shoulders from what was a stressful situation. Casper is now 5 weeks old, thriving and is being nannied by my Dartmoor pony mare, he’s thriving!
