It's condition when they arrive that counts
It doesn’t matter how good the plants a nursery produces are if they don’t take the same care in delivering them to customers who are not close enough to collect in person. While only time will tell whether they recover to crop properly I would have passed six of nine plants if they were on sale in the condition they arrived. I do not choose plants with broken shoots, that have been tossed around in a (battered) box so that potting compost lines the box rather than the pots etc. Photos are available.
A different level of packaging is required to make plants courier proof and the consequence for Marshalls is that a subsequent order for different plants went elsewhere.
