I had SMILE with James and was very apprehensive beforehand - I explored many different surgeons / clinics in the area and James I instantly had the most confidence in. He was so calming and reassuring throughout the procedure that felt like a few minutes and honestly wasn’t half as bad as I was expecting. I woke up the next day with 20/20 vision and can say it’s the most life changing and incredible thing I’ve ever done for myself. I cannot thank James and his team in surgery enough, from Helen holding and stroking my hand during the procedure to Alison’s care and light conversations beforehand to distract me.
