Elevant makes it right

[UPDATED 6/25:] Elevent reached out and made it right. They rescheduled my team and put in lots of updates to ensure strong communication with a successful event. I really appreciate the effort, and my team loved their event!

[Original 12/24:] The experience with Elevant platform was terrible. Day of event I saw that it had “concluded” already. When I reached out, I found it had been booked for midnight, not noon. I did not realize you could even book outside of standard hours. Regardless, I was told I would need to register and pay a rebooking fee. Once I registered, I was able to see all the messages from the vendor contacting me about the time being weird (yes also weird for them & also a known issue!). Unfortunately while I got emails from Elevant, I did not get any of the ones requesting details about the event itself from the 3rd party vendor. We were offered to reschedule the following week for $125, which I declined. No refund available.

A few recommendations for Elevent. Require people to register to ensure they get timely information. Seems the time slot was not conducive to either party; don’t offer them then (or have clients call for special requests). Require clients to enter a phone number, and if you do not hear from the client, especially when you recognize the situation doesn’t make sense, call them. Require confirmation of event and timing. Some policy changes would ensure everyone has what is needed for a successful gathering.
