Good but still room for improvement
Everything was fine. From purchase to delivery, the return and waiting for the results. There were no problems anywhere, everything went quickly. And the price was fair. I think I bought the kit in a sale. There were no big surprises. They found out the region I come from. Baden-Würtemmberg/Southern Germany. Then a bit of Denmark/Sweden, England and Scotland. In the end, only because I have Germanic and Celtic ancestry, as MyTrueAncestry confirmed to me using the Ancestry raw file.
And like every Central European, I was of course also shown to have Jewish ancestry. Many Europeans have converted to Judaism. Approximately 11% of male Jews have R1b...You have to take it with humor that Ancestry cannot tell the difference and shows every European a Jewish descent...
A service about the Y-DNA and mtNDA haplogroup would be cool. There are free tools that can read this using the Ancestry raw file. Why can’t a provider like Ancestry provide this? You don't even have to test the Y-DNA and mtDNA; you can also read this very accurately from the autosomal DNA that Ancestry evaluates...
Unfortunately, I have almost no close matches at all. Maximum 5th degree. Despite the many samples that Ancestry has, there are still probably too few. Therefore, the information about matches is a bit unnecessary, at least currently.
