At least you can upload your raw file to other providers, which provide more accurate results despite having much smaller databases. I had already done tests with other providers.
The results from 23andMe are absolutely laughable. My family comes from southern Germany. For generations. I am golden blonde and have a red beard. 23andMe wants to tell me that in addition to my German ancestry, I also have Finnish, Italian, Jewish, Eastern European, Sudanese and Indian ancestry. To date, no other test has found such nonsense. I had uploaded my raw file to MyTrueAncestry, and lo and behold: About 85% Germanic and about 15% Celtic ancestry.
