Jet2 as good as usual
Everything that involved Jet2 left very little to complain about. I will be using them for my next holiday. Booking was simple using the app, holiday updates and useful info via text/email/app gave me everything i needed.
There was a delay on both outbound and return flights, around 1 hour isn't a huge problem. These flights were later in the day so smaller delays earlier on must add up. A bit of a clean up around our seats could have been better though. The staff at Manchester airport are plentiful and helpful, less staff in Gran Canaria, but still helpful, returning from Gran Canaria, I struggled to see anyone apart from checkin and 1 poor guy on the gate, who was one of the cabin crew.
The hotel, Gloria palace royale hotel and spar in Gran Canaria, 3 stars I'm affraid, couldn't get a good nights sleep due to other noisy guests, but I can say the Jet2 holiday rep was the best I have met, she had brilliant local knowledge and helped us with questions about the island and all the trips on offer, making sure we picked the best things to do based on our needs.
I had to call the Jet2 helpline about my transfer when returning to the airport, very helpful and freindly.
