Review of Lofty

Rated 2 out of 5 stars

Nice website

Nice website. But they flip the properties. outrageously. And then claim it's a free market. DYOR. It is well documented. Also the legal foundation is shady at best: a security but not a security. be careful.

Hey there, thank you for your feedback.

Lofty is not a fund. We do not purchase properties, flip them, and then sell them on our website to users.

Instead, we are a marketplace like Airbnb, eBay, or Amazon.

The Lofty marketplace consists of buyers (token investors) and sellers (people who want to sell their properties).

All of the closing documents are publicly available in the "Documents" section of all property pages. There, you will see that Lofty was never the owner of any properties listed on our website – they are all being listed by 3rd party sellers & Lofty is facilitating the transaction.

Because all token holders are active and participate in governance, this constitutes our tokens as not being securities. Lofty does not make any decisions on behalf of the owners. We simply sign documents and pay bills on their behalf after they've granted us permission to do so via our governance system.
