This was a replacement for a booking in 2020 and it was wonderfully enhanced by the snowy weather which was totally unexpected no sign of snow when we left home.
The team on board were marvellous. Only a couple of minor complaints after Santa came through the train and gave out the gifts he returned spending time with each family for photos etc. But by the time he got to us at the end of the carriage he had run out of time and left. Our grandchildren were very disappointed by this as were we. The other issue was in the shop our 2 grandchildren wanted to write a letter to Santa there was only 1 sheet of paper left our granddaughter used this and we asked one of the assistants for more paper, we waited until we were the only ones left and asked again and were told that it had been requested but hadn't arrived we gave up at this point as we had to travel home so left with a disappointed grandson. But apart from these minor problems a very good trip. Thank you.
