Don’t do it. Stay away. Unethical company

I ordered 2 lights. Both were lower quality than what their website would have you believe. Also wasn’t wired properly. One was delivered damaged. The other worked. When I advised litfad they said they don’t do returns. I replied back saying that their website provided guarantees on returns for damaged items. Their guarantees aren’t worth anything. I replied to their e-mail repeating I wanted to return the item. They then offered 5% refund to keep it. I advised litfad that their response was not in line with Australian consumer law. They then said that I would have to pay to post it back to them. This is not in line with Australian consumer law either. They continued saying I would need to pay postage and were increasing the refund % they were offering with each reply. At no point did they acknowledge they weren’t complying with Aus law. Overseas companies who trade here still need to meet those obligations. I then informed them I would lodge a complaint with PayPal. Litfad offered a 40% refund for me to keep the light. I filed a complaint with PayPal who ended up refunding the money.
Do yourself a favour and stay away from this company
