Can just anyone create a fake profile?
I understand Bark.com is not directly affiliated to the companies listed on their platform, but the user experience is totally affected by the quality and veracity of the profiles they host. Is the information published verified? Can just anyone create a fake profile and pay for Bark.com leads? Bark.com makes it clear their "pros" pay for the lead, so they must know better about who they host on their platform than what is listed anyway, and this is just the reason I am publishing this review about Bark.com despite my experience with a "pro" they sold my inquiry to. Just happened that this "pro" became completely unresponsive just after they collected the deposit for a bathtub replacement job I still need. My bad luck ? Yes. Is it Bark.com's fault? No. Does it affect how I review Barks.com service on Trustpilot? Yes, definitely. By selling my enquiry to someone that may possibly be a scammer, even without being aware of that, it affects my perception of Bark.com service, which became damaged, so my review about my experience as a user cannot possibly be positive. I already published my review on Bark.com about what happened to me. This review is totally about Bark.com. My suggestion to Bark.com is that they try and help prevent things like that from happening, on their user interface, not just disclaim it on their terms and conditions. They are selling my enquiry after all.
