I would not even give them 1 star

I would not even give them 1 star, our buy to let in principle initially approved in October 2020, our mortgage broker provided all the information regarding new fire regulations, which they told us they don't have no issue with, however when it came to approve the loan and release it after 2 stressful weeks we only fount out that we got charged £650 for valuation and asked for EWS1 which they initially did not ask for it, then as per government guidelines we provided EWS1 and all the supporting documents confiming remediation work already in process and paid for but still declined it!!!

What made us really annoyed was that we have told them about the caldding and specifically asked them if they are not able to complete the lending put hold on valuation and tell us as no point paying for the valuation if the cladding issie is going to effect our application but they went on and did charge us £650 and declined the lending anyway.

They don't have a clue what they are doing, such a waste of time and money
