I recently purchased a new Imac and considered trying to sell my old one which whilst in good order it was 7 years old. I decided to search the internet and was amazed and pleased to find Macback as they were only 5 miles away from my home.
I went onto their site and immediately obtained a valuation for my old machine subject to testing etc. I decided to e-mail them rather than apply online as I was happy to drop it off with them. I was contacted immediately, I explained that I needed to transfer all my files etc over to my new machine. They said they would be more than happy to do that for me. Being a bit of an anorak I declined as I wanted the experience myself, it was good to know if I failed and the wheels fell off I had support from Macback.
I completed the changeover and clearing my old machine and arranged to drop my old machine to them. I was met by a very helpful and friendly guy who took my machine and issued me with a receipt. He said Apple is their speciality and if I ever needed help in the future to contact them. He said they were very busy but would test my machine later that day. I received an e-mail the next day to inform me that my machine was the spec I declared and that it passed the testing. I was informed that my money would be transferred to my account later that day. I received the money all as they quoted very early the next day......Excellent!
I would not hesitate to recommend Macback to my friends,relatives and anyone else.
