Careless

I have moved many times over the years, and hence used multiple moving companies, and based this review on that experience.

Holger Danske are surprisingly disorganised and quite careless. They have damaged designer furniture, our piano, tables, and an electrical item. Never have they owned up to anything, and have the cheek to say things arrive at the destination in better condition. Sadly, things could not be further from the truth.

Our experience:
1) Constantly chasing them.
2) Told not to wrap e.g. designer furniture as they would take care of it; did not and it got damaged.
3) Said they would use a lift for the piano; did not and it was subsequently damaged.
4) Caught the moving men discussing some damage they caused to some furniture; when I comment on it they say "oh did we do that?". Then they take a photo and say they'll be in touch. Wrong; you have to chase them.
5) Lift was 2 hours behind moving guys. So time wasted.
6) Moving truck was too small; so needed to wait 3 extra days to get stuff collected.

I regret using them.

10th Sept update: it was booked in my wife's name, Nana Hesler.

12th Oct update: while there was damage, it was great that Holger Dansk accepted responsibility for it. Thank you!!
