Purchased Sunday delivery, order arrived Tuesday midday, made.com don't care
I placed an order and paid extra for Sunday delivery as I live alone, there's no concierge and I work full-time. I haven't received any delivery confirmation emails from the courier company, so it was quite shocking when the delivery driver called me on a Tuesday midday, saying he's at my front door, what should he do? In the end, the package was left with a neighbour (who I didn't even know as I just moved in recently). Contacted made.com to inform them that I was charged for a service I didn't receive (Sunday delivery) and informed them of my inconvenience as I expected some compensation of sorts. In reply they acted like them refunding my delivery charge is an act of kindness on their behalf, but no further compensation was available. Completely unreliable service, shocking attitude, p*ss poor customer service. There are plenty of alternatives online, suggest picking someone else for your furniture shopping.
