Review of Humax

Faulty product and poor customer service. Won't be using again.

I've bought a lot of refurbished items in the past and haven't had any issues .... until I bought the Humax HDR-110S. After only a few minutes use the machine started to continually reboot. Upgrading firmware and performing several factory resets did not resolve the problem. After the machine had rebooted for about the 10th time in less than a day I decided it was getting returned. The return procedure was also far from ideal with the courier not turning up on the day Humax had advised. I had to call Humax to get them to re-organise the collection. I received no further communicate or refund from Humax until about 2 weeks later when my patience ran out and I again had to contact them for an update. Taking account all the delays it took almost a month to process my refund which is just ridiculous. All in all a very poor experience. I went back to using my 6 year old sky box which has been faultless in comparison. Won't be using Humax again.

I'm sorry to hear about the poor experience you had with Humax equipment and the inconvenience it caused you when trying to return the device.

I would like to look into this to establish where our procedures failed you so we can review them to stop this happening for future customers, would you mind sharing your returns reference? This usually includes "HMX".
