Cut service after 28 hours of non payment for one month??

We have been with Zona for well over a year, paying bills via "bill pay" practices for same time. Payments cut via internet and banking institution, the same.

Today I returned from weekend trip to find my Zona service had been inactive due to non receipt of our payment.

Payment was cut 24th, processed on 25th per bank, today is the 29th, their representative called and said because they did not get my one month payment by 28th at 3.00 PM MST, they shut off my service!! Are you kidding??

My credit score is over 800 and 28 hours after a one month payment is due they shut off my service.
