Horrible company

Absolutely awful dealings with this mickey mouse company. I decided not to proceed with with my application. My driving licence was declined as proof of id. I have a similar account with Monzo which has been a delightful experience. Transferwise made it very difficult when it should be a straight forward and hassle free process. The icing on the cake was when Transferwise charged me £ 0.50p to transfer back my money into my Lloyds account - unbelievable. I shall never use this company again

Thank you for the feedback and sorry to hear we have lost a customer.

It seems that we had to decline your drivers licence at first because the name on your profile and document did not match. Once the extra name was removed from the profile, your documents was verified without a problem.

Regarding the fee - indeed, we do have a fee for sending money from your borderless GBP account to another GBP account, it is 50p for any transaction, whatever amount. This fee is carefully calculated and we are working on loosing it in the future.
