Boiler defect, central heating.
Couple of days after the switch on of the central heating, no hot water. C/heating loop loosing pressure and dreaded lifting floorboards to find the leak then noticed drips from the underside of the boiler. Phoned Corgi late Sunday and a pleasant operator talked me through the process of the repair cycle, informing me an engineer would contact me to arrange a diagnostic visit within 24 hours. By Monday afternoon an engineer contacted me and diagnosed the problem Tuesday afternoon.
A short delay later, 24 hours, and arrangements were agreed that the repair would be effected on the Thursday PM. True to form the engineer arrived at the agreed time and repaired the boiler in an hour. All good.
My only issue was that the delay from diagnostic to repair was due to the engineer having to have the repair authorised, so I could have been without heating and hot water for an additional 48 hours from the initial diagnostics if I didn't keep filling up the c/heating loop and catching the drips in a bucket !
Overall very pleased with the service at what was the busy 'start of winter' time.
I would strongly recommend Corgi to all. Peace of mind and value for money.
