Review of Argos

Great shopping

Sometime you wait a long time if you
Are bring back a faulty goods.
Tried to take a shopping trolley back after 15 mins of buying it .
I had taken it out of the packaging as I was told it was a large capacity by Argos staff member but to see it fully up I put the wheels on outside the shop it was raining took it back was told could not exchange it as wheels were wet and it had been used I complained Epsom branch would not give me another after larger trolley more expensive and I would pay the difference or a voucher for the price of the trolley going back.
I explained the above was not happy had no present for my partner.
Exchange it no problem when my wife took in back next day clear polished the wheels in case it happened again they were only wet a few second the first time I tried to return it .
I was treated very badly I feel at Epsom.

Hi David, I am sorry you feel that way. If you are returning an item that isn't faulty it needs to be in a brand new, resalable condition and unfortunately if the store did not feel they could resell it in the condition you returned it in they would not exchange or refund. Sounds like giving it a quick clean did the trick though, I am glad you sorted it the next day :)
