Good experience in the Whitby store, they hadn’t got the gold jet signet ring I wanted in stock, but ordered it and gave the same discount as the online price. Slight confusion about the delivery date, but it arrived quickly & I am delighted with the item.

My first time buying from here I absolutely love my ring I bought for my 60th birthday in July this year fits beautifully had loads of comments too it’s gold with jet like a triangle shape the staff were just shutting up as I was looking in the window and the lady let me go in lovely staff very helpful and polite shop bottom of steps in Whitby going tomos tbh gna look again at this shop I love jet and this is a old shop in Whitby

On our visit to Hamond's Jewellers, we were looked after by Hugo who was very helpful, pleasant and polite. He showed us several items and was extremely patient throughout. I chose some earrings and there was a reduction in the price which was an added bonus. They were beautifully wrapped which is a lovely touch. The pendant I purchased was unique in design and flawless in execution. A wonderful piece which I have not seen the like of. It is a delight to wear. Packaging was perfection, a real treat to open. This was my first purchase but I don't think it will be my last.

I placed an order with W Hamond Whitby Boutique at the beginning of August. Payment was taken immediately, but I received no order confirmation and had no communication for two weeks. I had to chase the company several times before finally receiving a reply, at which point I was told the items I ordered were out of stock – something that was not stated at the time of purchase.

After waiting five weeks, only one item was sent, and I was informed the second was still unavailable. I eventually cancelled my order as the delays and lack of communication were unacceptable.

Overall, I found the service very poor: money was taken without confirmation, stock levels were not made clear, and communication was extremely difficult. Based on my experience, I would advise caution before ordering from this compan
