Saving time, money and my nose!
I have been using vancat scented litter for 7 weeks now.
I have 2 large breed male cats, which use XXL litter trays and I have to say I am very impressed.
I have gone through 4 bags of litter (I am very paranoid about smell) I would have previously used around 14 bags of sanicat in the same time.
The only issue I have is it tracks a fair amount, although my cats are long haired so this probably contributes.
Tracking - 3/10
Stopping odour- 9/10
Ease of delivery- 10/10
Quickness for delivery- 10/10
Quality of product - 10/10

Like glue when wet
I usually use worlds best litter but decided to try vancat. I bought the charcoal granules. It is like glue once it gets wet!!! I literally had to peel it off the scoop. My litter trays are stainless steel and this stuff stuck to the bottom. I've also bought a pine scented one and subscribed to receive monthly but I may have to revert back to worlds best. The cats seem to like it though.
Damaged Item
Item came damaged, sent them multiple pictures. They asked me to send photos of the outside of the box which I did but the packaging was fine it was the product. Decided to insult me by offering no replacement or refund and 10% off my next order.
Horrid customer service
The litter itself is good, however, the customer service is appalling. I’ve been ordering from VanCat for years, and lately DPD has been really bad at delivering. Either saying we weren’t at home when we clearly were, one time the bag split, this time they delivered to someone I have no idea who, but not ourselves. And every single time VanCat customer service let us down. This time around we were told we’ll need to pay for extra litter if they send the replacement or I can wait 6 days for DPD to find out what happened. I know what happened, they delivered to someone who wasn’t us (not even in our flat building, I can tell from the delivery photo). I’ve ordered the litter on Saturday, today is Thursday and I still don’t have it. The product isn’t cheap, and as loyal customers we are really let down. We have done nothing wrong, so I don’t understand why VanCat doesn’t take any responsibility for the delivery company they choose to use.
Update: turns out VanCat put the wrong address on the box. Now I’m expected to go and knock on my neighbours door who hasn’t brought the parcel to me in over 2 days - so clearly a weird situation - and confront them about it. But not to worry, VanCat is offering me 5% off my next order. That’s going to make it all better.
Don’t bother with this company. After years of ordering clearly not a valued customer. Plenty of other companies offering premium litter out there.

Our diva cat loves perching on the soft top to survey her kingdom, while our cheeky boy is obsessed with the hanging ball toy. It’s been a huge hit in our house from day one.
Plus, it fits perfectly in any room compact, stylish), and so easy to put together. Honestly, we’re already thinking about getting a second one!

Very formal refund procedure
Just started using this company as it was recommended by our cat behaviorist.
The product is good as other reviews mention, it does track quite a bit but a silicone mat under the tray limits this.
The issue is their customer service.
My first order of 2 bags arrived with 1 bag split open - no obvious damage to the box.
I had a trail of litter all the way along my path to my front door - sent a photo of that alongside a photo of the split bag inside the box.
Received a polite response to my email within 24hrs but they have a ridiculous procedure of needing multiple photos of the external box, internal box, damage to box and bag, photo of dpd label and another separate photo of product.
Without this they refuse to refund or replace the damaged product.
When you have cat litter all over your front and inside everywhere in your hallway, the last thing you need to be doing is taking a photo album of the carnage - especially when there is no visible damage to the box.
The product is packed so tightly within the box, it caused it to split down the seam - that is the company's fault not the courier.
I sent clear evidence that my product was damaged, therefore the responsibility lies with Vancat to resolve it and not make up impossible reasons as to why they will not refund or replace.
Edit: I received an immediate response to my further email, stressing my disappointment in the company.
It was a much warmer, genuinely respectful tone and I was offered a partial refund for my damaged packet of litter - this is feel is fair.
The formal returns procedure was explained in depth and I felt like they actually do care about the customers experience.
So, fingers crossed my next order which is due today, arrives with no issues because I would like to continue using this company for cat litter.
Not ok to receive split bag and have an expectation that your customer scoops the litter up and reuses it.
I love this cat litter and have been using it for years. Unfortunately though, I have had 2 lots through the post that have been damaged, litter everywhere! It’s a complete pain.
When complaining to vancat I cannot fault their quick response, however, I am appalled that the refund the customer receives is based upon their view about how much litter can be saved for example, if you receive a split bag, they expect that you scoop the litter back up and reuse it! Honestly. Vancat, you need to ensure your bags are robust, and DPD, you need to ensure you are handling boxes labelled as fragile appropriately. It is not on the customer to scoop litter up after the bag is damaged. If I paid for 10L, I want to know I have received 10L.
This is the second time this has happened to me. If it happens again, I will no longer order from Vancat.
Poor customer service
Poor customer service. Very disappointed with the customer service of this company. The litter is certainly not cheap so I took advantage of the multi-buy discount (which is minimal) and ordered four bags of litter at the same time. When they arrived one of the bags had split inside the box, with no visible damage to the box so I took a photo of the split bag inside the box and proceeded to clean up the mess in my hallway and garden and getting rid of the box. When I contacted Vancat they refused to provide a new bag or provide a refund on the split bag, instead gave me a discount towards future purchases because I had not fulfilled all the eight points they need in order to proceed. Shame to lose a customer for something that could so easily be rectified.
Vancat the best litter
I have been using this product for the last 12 months ,my cats love it, clean litter box every day. The absorption rate of this litter is fantastic, clumping great,odour control fantastic. I place an order once a month and told my friends about it some of which have tried it and love it and have placed repeat orders. Thank you vancat, perfect product and great value for money, would recommend that all cat owners try it.

Can’t rate this company highly enough.. the product is amazing .. had a issue with a order which was my fault as was ordering for my mum and my phone auto corrected the address to mine ( which is 250 miles away ) emailed and then rung . The agent was amazing and had already changed address .. 5 * customer service…
No trusted company with personal details
Received shocking email about a purchase that I didn’t make, saying “ thank you for your purchase “ I didn’t purchase anything lately; last time I purchase something from them was nearly two years ago, it really scare me and upsets me on how they hold your data after this long period.

An excellent product!
I have had cats for many years and have bought many different cat litters…this is the BEST! Easy to order and fast delivery and the cat litter is very fine and excellent quality. We buy the Baby Powder (!) one and my cats love it. The clumping system is easy to clean up and never smells. I WOULD recommend this product-love it!
Insanely dusty and sticky, do not recommend
The delivery was fast and good but the product is absolute garbage. Followed the instructions exactly and found that this litter not only stuck to the litterbox like cement (despite scooping twice daily), but the litter was also incredibly dusty and made my cats sneeze and also triggered my asthma. So I got rid of it and went back to cat's best clumping litter which has never let me down before, I'd rather use that and hoover litter daily than have litter that doesn't track but destroys everyone's lungs and turns into cement. Do not recommend it at all, not sure where all these good reviews came from.
Best litter for a multi cat household
Best litter by far for a multi cat household. Delivered quickly. Litter clumps incredibly well. A lot of my cats pee to the side of the litter tray but clump comes away either as a whole or breaks up but not into little pieces that then ruin the rest of the litter. Also doesn't have a slimy, sticky coating to it like some clumping litters. Moving all trays over to this litter slowly but cats are choosing the ones with VanCat in over the other trays.

Worst customer service ever

My order arrived and the bag was split…
My order arrived and the bag was split with 75% of its contents missing that had poured out the box. Send pictures to Van cat themselves to notify them of my damaged order but they didn't seem interested in the slightest and kept asking for pictures that i'd already sent. After going around in circles and them repeating themselves for half a day via email with no logical response to my problem i've now closed my account with them and no longer use their cat litter. Been a customer since they first started the business and i was shocked to be treated like a nobody. They lied to me several times and i have the emails to prove it. Useless company full of compulsive liars and inccompitence. Quite funny to see everybody else state how bad there customer service is, i knew i wouldn't be the only one having problems when their staff flat out refusing to listen to anything i've said.
Good litter, poor customer service
I love e the litter and cat as well. However the customer service did let me down. I had an issue with them. An order was placed on my account + subscription automatically. I don't how this happened but I did prove them that I haven't been on the website and placed the order myself. My browser history show that. I receive am email one day that they received my order which I've never place! They insisted that I did the order and won't trust me. They did refund me but I had to pay for the delivery... I won't buy anymore because of that. Shame.
Great service
Great service! Exceptional from purchase to delivery. I only came to know about Vancat from the breeder I got my Ragdoll from and I’m really impressed with this company and the litter. I ordered it and received it in less than 48h (it could likely have been even quicker if I didn’t state on the order to do weekends delivery or evening delivery). I’m in awe and this will definitely be my go to!
