Too many cheaters on CS2 and Valve does nothing about it. Players use aim-hacking, wall-hacking, armour hacks, and it makes playing really sucky.

For a LONG time i was a somehow happy customer.
Steam platform worked well. Games were available.

Unfortunately Gabe became to rich and is now giving a sh1t about his customers/the platform anymore.

Cheaters in most games (and no, you can fix that, everything else is a lame excuse to spend money), skins market recently went havoc (so you will go more for chests -> buy keys from Steam), and trading has also changed to the worst scenario so far.

What a time to be alive...

Valve is purposely ruining games.

I dont understand how they messed up so much from the csgo to cs2 update. Like they have billions in cash yet have bugs again that were around at the start of csgo. Like did they hire someone who didn’t know what they were doing. In 10+ years of csgo i never had these problems and im not talking cheaters like everyone else. Firstly skins dont load right probably 15% of the time my skins show as default, different maps change the colors of my charms, charms randomly will change colors during a game, my music kit quit working almost a month ago and still no fix, theres a music kit with the n word on it, i tested the rank system since it felt really broke and was nowhere near this bad the last 10 years and got s1 when trying and top fragged all games with over a 2.0 kd and got s1 which is better stats than half the pros or at lem and higher even leetify puts me almost at the top and when i purposely stood still and didnt play at all i got gold nova 2 with just afking so you get a higher rank by being trash, and i could go on and on like achievements for instance are all gone and tens of thousands if not possibly hundreds of thousands of people have been grinding those for a decade just deleted. Like it’s actually a joke if people didnt have so much time and money invested it would of been dead a long time ago. Like why waste so much time and money on danger zone too just to delete it lmao. Idk who’s running it now but its now just a huge money grab and makes no sense. Hope their office gets egged this year lmao

Currently 20 days into an RMA process (still ongoing), after buying expensive hardware that arrived broken (so, clearly wasn't even tested properly), then being strung along by a godawful slow returns process with almost no communication. Absolutely terrible experience.

CS2 makes me sad

Yet, the transition to CS2 has been rough. Despite the anticipation, I’ve faced constant lag and bugs that mess up the experience, especially during intense firefights where precision is key.

The new matchmaking system seems hit or miss, and I often find myself in unbalanced teams, diminishing the fun. Valve needs to address these issues to bring CS2 up to the standards set by its predecessor. New system of ratings and ranks is disgusting too.

Impressive Build Quality and Premium Unboxing Experience

Before getting into my personal experience, I feel it’s worth addressing the Trustpilot rating that currently sits at around 1.7 stars. A large portion of these reviews appear to be driven by frustration with Valve's handling of in-game issues—particularly around titles like CS:GO and the ongoing problem of cheaters. While these concerns are valid, they’re tied to software and game moderation, not to the physical products or customer service Valve provides.

It's important to separate those two sides. My experience is purely based on purchasing physical hardware from Valve—specifically VR equipment like the Index knuckle controllers and base stations. And on that front, Valve has absolutely delivered. The customer service, packaging quality, and overall presentation of their physical products have been outstanding, and I believe that deserves its own recognition apart from the frustrations some users have with the software side of things.

I recently received the Valve Vive 2.0 base stations and Valve Index knuckle controllers, and I have to say, the build quality is exceptional right out of the box.

Unboxing these products was a genuinely amazing experience. Everything was packaged securely, with clear attention to detail, and it felt like a premium product from the moment I opened the box. The base stations are sturdy, well-built, and have a solid, high-quality feel to them. You can tell that a lot of thought went into their design. The Index knuckle controllers are equally impressive in terms of their build. They have a very premium, durable feel, and the materials used are top-notch. Holding them in your hands, you immediately get the sense that these are made to last.

Another nice touch was the inclusion of a dedicated microfiber cloth to clean the base stations. It's a small detail, but it speaks to the level of care Valve puts into their products.

That said, I do want to mention a couple of points, though they aren’t really issues with the product itself. The cable for the base stations is four and a half meters long, which is generous, but in my small room (around three meters by two and a half meters), it wasn’t quite long enough to reach all the way across. My setup required me to plug the base stations into one extension cable, but the Valve base stations’ cable wasn’t long enough to reach the corner near my PC. I had to route it around two and a half walls to get it to the opposite corner of the room. To make it work, I used a different plug closer to the upper end of the room for the Valve base stations, while keeping the HTC base stations on the shorter cable at the closer end. This isn’t a fault of the product itself, but more of a limitation due to my room’s layout.

Additionally, there’s a purchasing limitation that I encountered with Steam. You can buy the base stations and controllers individually, but Steam restricts your account to purchasing only two base stations and one set of controllers per order. If you try to purchase more, you hit a soft lock and can’t place any more orders for a short period of time (typically a day or two). While this isn’t a problem with the product itself, it was frustrating and time-consuming as I was hoping to buy enough base stations for a four-corner setup. This seems to be more of a restriction imposed by Steam, not Valve, so it’s worth noting if you’re planning a larger setup.

While I haven’t tested them in VR yet, the unboxing and first impressions were more than enough to make me excited about what these will bring to my setup. The build quality, packaging, and overall experience so far have been outstanding. It's clear Valve has put a lot of effort into making these products feel premium and well-crafted, and i can't wait to get them set up for new and improved VR setup.

US:
The website couldn't care less that despite having every possible security measure on their platform, a hacker stole money from my Steam wallet and equipment. Steam has terribly weak security, and despite evidence of hacking, it couldn't care less about compensation for its weak security. America is crap; Europe would not allow such filth. This is not a free market economy, but crap without borders. Steam supports the promotion of gambling among children and supports its own black market made up of crooks' money. The fact that it is the most popular platform in the world is some kind of error in the matrix and a great disappointment. Such a “most popular” gaming platform is the worst thing that has happened to the gaming world.

🔥Valve - Dota 2

🔥 Dota 2 – The Rotting Crown of Valve (a brutally honest review):

🎮 Valve? More like Val-void.
A hollow, apathetic shell of a company, stuck in a loop of greed and silence. Updates crawl in like molasses, bugs linger for years, and dev feedback is as dead as Half-Life 3.

🧠 What does Valve actually do for Dota?
NOTHING. No innovation. No soul. Just regurgitated events, pathetic balancing, a dying esports scene, and a matchmaking system that feels like torture with a smile.

💸 It’s all about the money.
TI? A flashy gambling pit with digital hats and zero substance. Skins, battle passes, overpriced crap — but the game’s core? Neglected like a dog in the rain.

☣️ And the community? The absolute worst.
Dota 2 has hands down the most toxic, vile, and hateful player base in gaming. It's not just frustrating — it’s mentally draining. A cesspool of tilted egos, racists, griefers, and manchildren foaming at the mouth every match.

📉 Dota 2 used to be magic. Now it’s a decaying husk wrapped in a paywall.

🪦 Final verdict:
Valve abandoned Dota like a screaming baby in a dumpster behind a Half-Life 3 billboard.
Shameful. Hopeless. Dead inside. 👎

Bad company doesn't review reports and…

Bad company doesn't review reports and has a built a game for gambling addicts,
1 star, you get people telling you to kys and nothing happens to them but if you kill them in game (I killed they guy that wished me death) you get banned from matchmaking and lose 1.000 rank points, I will make sure to troll every game since you think this is fair. Fix your game, not possible that I have worse rank then when I started playing because you "punish" with 1000 points griefer, I get the matchmaking ban but why you take 1000 points from me ? Do you understand that you ruin the experience and the joy of ranking up? I don't know what to do except leaving this review, fix your game it's embarassing, and if you check any other games this doesn't happen: Lol valorant fortnite fifa, looks like greedy behaviour, hopefully not

Absolute garbage company

CS2 has no working anti cheat, they are selling gamba to kids turning them into addicts from a young age and the game overall just feels clunky as hell. Not even CS:GO had this many cheaters. Should have left CS:GO alone if this is your attempt at making a sequel.
