When is the driver coming???
In the context of an RMA, the company I was returning my goods to made use of TNT's shipping services.
I am extremely disappointed by the fact that I did not receive any information - neither on my phone, nor on my e-mail - of when to expect the driver coming to pick up my package. The first time, this resulted in a delay of 4 days before my package could be picked up. The second time, I was waiting for the driver *the entire day* - this meant I couldn't leave the house for even 5 minutes in fear of missing the shipment. Both times, I went out of my way and manually added my e-mail to make sure I receive status updates for the shipment - nothing ever came to my inbox. Their 'Track & Trace' system only shows the pickup date (which also has been delayed twice now), but no info on the hours the driver is expected to be there.
I cannot recommending TNT/FedEx's services to anyone, based on my experience.
You will never get to speak to a human
You will never get to speak to a human. Good luck with your package or what ever situation you are in that you need to contact customer support.
Package was supposed to come but did not come, no call no nothing.
Two weeks later, suddenly got a phone call saying they are outside my door, no notice no nothing, website tracking did not say out for delivery.
Driver was angry at me in the phone because I am not home.
1* is far too much for TNT
1* is already too much for a delivery company that is NOT able to deliver a parcel! Nobody comed with the parcel and then they send an sms to reschedule the delivery. Done, rescheduled to the day after. And guess what? Exactly the same. Parcel no. 97605304201. Worst delivery company ever and a complete bad will from their agents who do whatever else but delivering parcels!
Stay away from this company
They did not come on the agreed date. No message and TT did not show any updates. I call them and they say there were "delays" and they will come the following day. Again, I wait the whole day at home, and mid afternoon they send me an SMS that they tried to deliver, but nobody was home, which is not true. Unfortunately they are lying openly. I called customer service again and they did not apologize for the lies. They only try to get me out of the phone and schedule a "new delivery" next week. I don't understand how this company is still in business. I'm reading other reviews now and I can see that it is their systematic procedure to lie to the customers saying that they were at the address, but they didn't even attempt to deliver. Stay away from this company.
TNT is harassing me by sending physical…
TNT is harassing me by sending physical posts for unsupported charges. They claim that they have paid customs duty on a normal non commercial shipment which declared correctly and the content was a physical paper. They do not reply to emails when asked any more information about it. This is one of the worst company I have ever dealt with. I see some other people have posted similar complaints. I hope authorities take notice of such business practice and take some action.
TNT are threatening me with debt collectors for their mistake
TNT are awful. I received a package in September (a commercial sample, not liable for VAT). No problems. Then, I get a letter just after Christmas which I at first thought was a scam, from TNT asking for money and no real information on what it was for.
Turns out they want customs fees, which I shouldn't pay, for this package I received months ago. Furthermore, when I get into contact with them, they claim I've had multiple letters (never got one, I'd never even heard of TNT before this), and threatened me with debt collection.
They also refuse to engage with the sender, who will be the one to pay if anything does in fact need paying and has asked them to direct their enquires to him.
Shame on you
I live in Lyngby. For more than a week, I was waiting for a parcel that was supposed to be delivered within 2-3 days. After one week the parcel was still at Kastrup warehouse. I contacted the customer care then, given that the sender told me about a TNT message received, saying that I wasn't at home and that I should have been there, the shipping would have been charged to him otherwise. The support said that the courier couldn't find anyone in my house so he left (impossible, cause I work from remote and I'm always at home). I rescheduled the delivering the day after between 9-2pm. At 1pm I called another time as still no one showed up. They said "don't worry, it's an all day delivering. Wait.." so I waited again. At 6pm, tired of being teased I rent a car and I reached Kastrup warehouse to pickup the parcel by myself. Inside the parcel, I also found some broken objects. You should be ashamed for that. A tip for all of you: never choose TNT.
A masterclass in incompetence, or: How to fail to deliver a package over and over for a month and a half
This is the first time I write anything on Trustpilot. However, considering that TNT Denmark –or FedEx Express, those being the same company– recently gave me the unique chance to experience the worse service I ever got to encounter so far, or at least the most absurdly incompetent, I think that a review calls itself.
I ordered a package abroad that arrived in Denmark on May 25. It finally got delivered today, on July 11, one and a half month later. In the meantime: a grotesque amount of mistakes and an overdose of unreliability from TNT. For a company that is meant to do one thing, delivering packages, they surely excel at precisely *not* delivering packages. The only reason I managed to get mine, even over a month late, was because I sent them an e-mail each time they failed. Had I not actively spent time trying to get my package from them, I would not have gotten anything at all. Not once they sent a message to me, left a note, or tried to get in touch on their own initiative.
Here is an overview of their mistakes:
– They don’t have pick-up points.
– They only deliver on week days during work hours.
– They don’t come to deliver the days they say they would.
– They rarely accept to deliver the days you tell them you are available.
– They do offer to choose another delivery address after you contact them, but then keep delivering at the old one.
– They never get in touch by themselves about their failures: the only thing to do is to keep visiting the tracking page to know what is happening, and e-mail them each time something goes wrong.
It results in a service that seems entirely run by disorganised amateurs and your package zigzagging around town for over a month. Those are issues that don’t happen with Postnord, GLS or Bring for instance, from whom I get packages very often without any issue. Something as essential as having pick-up points in shops to get your package there the day after a failed delivery would already solve everything.
Here is the summary of what happened:
– On May 25, my packaged arrived in Kastrup.
– On May 31, they tried to deliver but there was no one home that day.
– With any other company, it would have been available at a pick-up point the next day. Not with them, first surprise.
– On June 1, I wrote to inquire about the whereabouts of my package.
– After that I told them each time I expected someone to be home.
– I told them there will be someone on June 8, they answered they couldn't come.
– I told them there will be someone on June 13, they answered they couldn't come.
– I told them there might be someone some of the time on June 17 and we could try that day, they were not able to pass by at a specific time range. They came, but it unfortunately happened when there was no one.
– I told them there will be someone on June 20, they answered they couldn't come.
– Then I ended up giving them another address, much less practical for me to bring the package home. They answered they will deliver there on June 22.
– On June 22, they tried delivering at *the old address*, of course there was no one.
– I wrote and they said they will deliver at the right address on June 23.
– No one came to deliver at the right address on June 23.
– On June 24, they had the audacity to answer that they won't try delivering again at all because they had tried several times already. They had already accumulated so many mistakes and it was entirely their fault. I wrote them this, and more.
– On June 27, they accepted to contact they dispatch team to ask if a new delivery was possible.
– On June 30, no news, I wrote them again.
– On July 1, they replied they didn’t know and they would contact the dispatch team again.
– On July 4, no news, but I see from the tracking that they tried delivering, you guessed it, at *the old address* again.
– After I wrote them, they confirmed that they would deliver on June 6 at the right address.
– On July 6, no one came.
– After I wrote again and asked them for a delivery on July 7, they answered they couldn't come that day. But they confirmed, once more, that they would deliver on July 8, at the right address.
– On July 8, I wasn’t even surprised any more, no one came.
– At that point I was pretty sure I would never see my package, and I was starting to think that cycling all the way to their warehouse on the road to Dragør, or buying and sending them a print-yourself Postnord stamp that they could stick on my package to hand it over to a more competent carrier were the only options left.
– On July 11, against all odds, a man from TNT showed up and handed me the package. Finally.
One thing is certain now, I would never again order anything to Denmark that is hauled by TNT or FedEx Express. Not that I had a choice that time –I bought a product that was sold only by one shop that only had TNT as a delivery option– but next time, I will choose an entirely different product just to avoid them. You probably should too :)
Worst service ever!
Do not use this currier.
Absolutely the most useless currier service I have ever experienced.
Patience has run out!!
We have been using TNT as express courier for several years as a B2B customer. They used to have excellent customer service and transit times.
BUT during the past 6 months their transit times and service has simply been terrible!! Transit times on most shipments are more than twice as long. Parcels get stuck for no reason, and we do not get any notifications.
And you need a lot of patience when calling customer service as it takes up to 30 minutes to get through. Most of the time they cannot give any answers and ask their support to call you back, but they never do.
Our patience has run out !!!
Endless struggles as a B2B customer
We have been using TNT as a parcel delivery service for some time.
But time and time again we have experienced dropped/damaged packages and uncollected packages.
Our official agreement has a deadline for same-day pickup - but this deadline has never been maintained by the courier. And when the courier is late or doesn't manage to collect the package, the booking is apparently automatically cancelled without ANY notification by the courier or on their online portal, MyTNT. This has happened several times.
Their phone support is only sporadically available - if you can stand to wait for half an hour on the phone.
Generally, we haven't been shipping many packages (especially during corona times), but at this rate of mishandled or uncollected packages, our patience has simply run out.
BIGGEST SCAM AND WORST SERVICE EVER!
We have a company account with TNT, but have never used them to ship anything. But somehow we received an invoice for a shipment of helicopter parts from Germany (we sell furniture), which was clearly a mistake. We then spend the next 2 months trying to get in touch with their accounting department (never succeeded) before they would own their mistake and revoke their claim. We are a small, newly started company, so clearly we have much better use of our time than trying to reach a company that is either very unprofessional (incompetent) or simply trying to scam companies that have signed up for an account with them. We will only use DHL going forward!
Terrible service
Terrible service! I used Parcel2Go to send a parcel from Berlin to London and they used TNT. I sent a few paper posters valued at £50 and after it arrived I got hit with 7 charges from TNT costing £160. I was never made aware of any potential fees or duties and tried to discuss this with TNT they took weeks to respond and only responded "Unfortunately, I cannot understand exactly what is being complained about in your letter." Then then also hit me with surcharges for delayed payment, so neither company helped me and TNT threatened debt collectors so I had to pay
Incompetent and lazy
They left a "sorry we missed you" note without a consignment number i.e. no way to reschedule the delivery.
Live chat is down. Phone line is down. How the hell am I supposed to contact them about this? I can't even pick up my package at the depot without the consignment number
Tracking number 62860842
Tracking number 62860842
Waited in all day was sat at my window for the past hour then checked the tracking said he had attempted to deliver and had left a card. Absolute lie. I was sat at the window at the exact time and an hour before that waiting. I took a day off work what a waste of my time! I am so mad. Clearly the address was the same as yesterday when they actually left a card so no excuse that they went to the wrong place.
Don't use this company if you can avoid…
Don't use this company if you can avoid it. I needed to ship two parcels from Denmark to the UK. The reciever shipped me package labels (he could get the shipping cheaper from his end) I printed out the labels and attached them to my packages. The packages are labelled for pickup may 1th. but the timeframe for pick up is between 9 am and 6 pm, so 9 hours I'll have to be standby for the pickup. I contacted the company to hear if they could tell me when the packages would be picked up. They told me that they needed a bookingnumber to see anything. So what he basically told me was that they can't see anything from the labels that i've printed out and sticked to the parcels. Even though there are an S/R accountnumer, a barcode, a package number, my adress and the recievers adress. It even says pick up may 1th. 2019
And then he tells me that even though it says pick up on may 1th. 2019 it's not sure that pickup has been booked!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm speechless. How the hell can one buy a label that says pickup may 1th and then it's not sure that a pickup is booked 'NEVER EVER GONNA USE THEM AGAIN.
Experience of a private cutomer
I'll start by saying, that my experience is as a private customer and not as a company.
So I got two parcels recently and after some time a tax notice. On it there was link saying I could pay online. But to my surprise that is only for companies!!!
So my next step was to Email tnt about what I was paying for and a howto (Found none on their homepage).
After about a week I got a message that they needed more information. And that left me waiting for a bit more than a week only to be told that it was one of me packages. I responded about payment, but a few days I called them. They sent me around and gave me different answers like "Why would you pay for that package" and "I can't see any tax on that package".
Almost a week later a new mail came saying that it was the other package and howto. So I went a payed it the next day, where I also received a notice and warning. Now this letter gives a good idea why this company sucks. Letter was written 10 days before it arrived and the deadline was the same day.
So in short this company 33% miscommunication, 33% incompetence and 33% who might know what they're doing.
Don't use this company if you can …
Don't use this company if you can prevent it.
What I experienced is this: TNT claims that they have been at my home and tried to deliver a parcel. Well, someone was at home all day, but nobody heard a bell.
They also claim that they left a note in my mailbox. Well, there was no note in the mailbox.
Oddly enough, this failure to ring the door bell and leave notes is something I only experience from parcel delivery companies. Who, incidentally, get paid for delivering at people's homes instead of delivering to depots/package shops, etc. I wonder how many times companies like TNT simply don't do what they get paid for?
Live Chat quick and efficient resonce!
I had an issue with the wording on my customs documentation and waisted time calling around to find out if I had to include all the details. Luckily I went to live chat spoke to Emma and she added it in Job done in no time at all, and Emma sent an email with the amened document now I do not need to worry. Excellant!!
