Great!

Great courses with a lot of interaction, application, and feedback built in! I took the Advanced Presentations for Consultants and definitely learned simple skills to apply to presentations going forward.
This is my second course with the training provider.

Excel is not my friend, and I want it to be.

I have learned quite a bit. I am having trouble with the chart section because I don't have enough excel background. Perhaps add a short lesson or two giving the basics on entering data into excel...Also sometimes the narrator just talks to fast making assumptions about people being able to follow along. I often have to watch sections many times. Perhaps that is a method to the madness.

Paul's instruction is very clear and…

Paul's instruction is very clear and hits the exact right level of specificity. It's very meta, as that's a large part of what the course is about, just pertaining to slide design. Word of caution: these courses are about a very specific kind of presentation- usually a consulting group answering a question for a company. I work at a firm that operates more in the people development space, so it's not always entirely relevant, but there's still some wisdom to glean anyway.

Excellent Course

Great course, very useful for consultants. Provides homework to complete so interactive and forces engagement rather than just passive listening. Well structured framework for teaching concepts. Good pace and not too long of a course. However, I find that the concepts are more geared for MBB strategy consulting and may not be exactly way of making slides for operational consulting where you're not always leading the client to certain decision but instead conducting a design workshop or providing a status update at steerco meeting. If there were examples of how to apply the same principles but for non-strategy client scenario but more operational stakeholders where status reports, steerco meetings, and implementation plans are made via ppt.

This course is an excellent resource…

This course is an excellent resource for anyone looking to elevate their presentation skills, especially in a consulting context. It offers clear, practical guidance on structuring points of view (POVs) and presenting data in a way that is both compelling and easy to follow. The emphasis on clarity, logical flow, and storytelling ensures that complex ideas are communicated effectively. I particularly appreciated the focus on visual polish—practical tips and design principles that make slides not only professional but also engaging. Highly recommended for anyone who wants their decks to look and feel like they came from a top consulting firm.
