No timelines on the website were true, order partially delivered, and late.

No timelines on the website were true. Very misleading and on purpose.
We double-checked with a sales representative AS WELL as with their client service, who promised the delivery times are reliable
AFTER payment, delivery was 5 weeks away instead of within 3 days. And we ordered more than 20 items for bathroom renovations, so it's not one item, it's a cheating and frauding method.

After several calls, some of the items were suddenly available within a week (which is longer than advertised on their site as well), and when we received the order, it was partial, and we had to chase them AGAIN.

Several other shops, which we bought from after this debucale delivered within the advertised timelines.

So the bottom line is, a fraudulent website, on purpose. Buy somewhere else. It's stressful enough to renovate; you don't need these guys complicating your life further

We've had a frustrating experience

We've had a frustrating experience. Our tile order was delivered damaged twice and also the bathtub drain pipes. Each replacement took two to three weeks with no option to expedite. The delivery carrier left everything on footpath. One of the worst experience i have. Dont buy anything from them.. Its expensive and service is bad

No solution if anything breaks!

Bought a full bathroom from this shop. The buying process together with the recommendations were very well. However after not even 1.5 years the built-in shower is totally broken! The rain shower side has no water coming out and the hand shower side can't be fully closed! We've been in contact with customer service for almost 2 months and they are still asking what product we have! There are order details, pictures, videos of badly leaking shower! All of them have product details! Almost 2 months cannot properly shower! Terrible service if anything breaks!

Best bathroom shop in NL

It's by far my favorite bathroom shop in Amsterdam. Both the online shop and the physical one are very good. The people working in the physical shop are very nice and friendly, often can figure out an extra discount if you are buying many items, and were so kind in letting me return one item I bought several months after the purchase, when noticing it didn't fit my bathroom.

Would very much recommend any time.

Another delivery disaster by sanitairwinkel

The porcelain tiles are delivered broken. And the cabinet which was supossed to be 39cm in depth is 46cm and hence does not fit the already ordered washbasin. So in total I have one incomplete, one incorrect, and one broken delivery. Another milestone for sanitairwinkel.

Delivery problem

Unfortunately I had a very bad experience. My product arrived without the assembly parts and was also the wrong model. They should take deliveries more seriously. I have elderly visitors and no toilet seat for them. Thanks sanitairwinkel!

Terrible Service – No Response to Damage Claims

I bought a sink and douchebak from this store, along with other items. To my surprise, both arrived damaged. I immediately filed a claim and sent multiple reminders, but I have yet to receive any response or resolution.

Because of this, my renovation was completely halted for close to 2 weeks. The lack of communication and customer service is unacceptable.

Misleading information about tiles

The store consultant was given an architectural drawing of the bathroom and miscalculated the number of tile boxes on purpose by 600 euros. I asked many times if it’s a correct amount and was assured that it is. It was a 14 boxes miscalculation. And now they are not willing to accept a rerun because there was some sort of clause in Dutch obviously that states that tiles can’t be retuned. I asked several times in the store if there’s anything else I need to know about the order and was told that it’s a correct amount and everything else is like a regular purchase. The store consultant obviously calculated a lot more to make a higher commission. Extremely poor customer service for very high price offers, strongly advise to go for Sanidirect instead, much nicer service and more customer oriented.

Website lies on Hansgrohe Tecturis Basin tap 16.5cm stock

I bought Hansgrohe Tecturis Basin tap Built-in - mixer tap - round - single lever - 16.5cm with availability mentioned from 7 days in the website. The expected date was 6th Aug 2024, later they updated me with a delay till 4th Nov 2024 over email.
However, their website still shows available from 7 days!
Basically, all my appointments with the plumber has gone for a toss because of this. I could have saved time and money if they didn't lie in the website...

Ordered 2 radiators off their website...

Ordered 2 radiators off their website - all went well. Then received confirmation that my items were in stock and I could choose a delivery date. Took time off work because they couldn't provide delivery tracking code/time.

We get to the end of the day and nothing...I ring Sanitairwinkel customer service and give them my purchase number. The lady says - "hmmm, let me ring the shipping company". Placed on hold, then when she's back, she says that I should have never received my confirmation email with the shipping information; they made a mistake.

She said sorry, but did not want to be held accountable for the fact that I was now out of a day's wage! A big con - they say it's in stock, then nothing. The delivery was expected mid September!!! I would not recommend this retailer...shop else where.

Cannot deliver 5 items in more than 30 days

I ordered from the webshop on 23 March. According to the web site all items (5 in total) could be delivered in 2-3 working days.

After a week of not hearing anything about delivery I contacted them. It turns out one of the items was out of stock and would be available on 16 April. No problem, I can wait until then. 16 April comes and goes, I hear nothing.

On 18 April I contact them again. This time, delivery of the missing item is postponed to 9 July! More than 3 and a half months away from the initial order date. I explain to them that I cannot install the rest and wait for months to take a shower (it was the doucheset for a new bathroom if you wonder). No problem, I'm sure we can find a solution. I ask them to propose another model which is in stock and let me know how we can settle the difference in price. I also explain I am open to cancel the whole order if they cannot deliver as I have no use of a shower without water. My only request is to receive the all items in 1 shipment as I need to take a day off from work to wait for the delivery.

Customer service tells me that they will check with their supplier and suddenly the doucheset would be available on 26 April instead of July. Very good news, right? Wrong! We agree to a delivery date of 29 April. I take a day off from work to stay at home and receive the order only to find out 3 of the 5 items are delivered. I have to wait 1 more day for the other 2 items. Next day, 30 April, only 1 other item is delivered (long awaited doucheset). Today is 1 May. I was still waiting for the remaining item. I shoot an email again to ask. Now they tell me it will be delivered on 3 May because of reasons (mind you they confirmed all items were in stock before but this last item turns out to be damaged before shipment, can happen). We'll see if they can manage. It is a special talent to deliver (or not) 5 items in 3 shipments in almost 40 days. Well done! I am partly responsible for requesting and expecting a single delivery instead of a partial one. At least customer service people are polite in their correspondence, I have no doubt they are trying to do what they can. They even apologised for the inconvenience in their last email.

I don't think I'll be a returning customer. I need to be disappointed by other similar webshops before I place another order at Sanitairwinkel.

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM…

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM SANITAIRWINKEL!!!!!!!! I would give 0 stars but that is not possible. Here is a list of all the problems I have had with Sanitairwinkel:
1. In the shop they said the order was placed but in fact it was not. I discovered this 1 week before my items we due to be delivered. My items were therefore delayed by up to 4 weeks which delayed my whole building project.
2. one tub of grout was delivered broken
3. bath was delivered smashed
4. two boxes of tiles were delivered broken
5. sink was delivered damaged
6. toilet was delivered cracked
7. the grate for the shower drain does not fit in the floor drain despite it being ordered as one item
8. their customer services operate entirely via email and take several days to respond to each email. So sorting out all of these problems has further delayed by building project
9. staff in the shop can't do anything to help resolve the above issues
10. staff on the phone can't do anything to help resolve these above issues.

I spent over EUR10k with this company. I deeply regret it. I've been unable to sleep from the stress of trying to resolve all of these problems. This is the WORST customer experience I have ever had.

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM SANITAIRWINKEL.
