Very poor online buying experience

I tried to order a motorcycle jacket online. I no longer live in Germany but I had all the infos I needed (or so I thought) in order to give out the order and pay with PayPal. After a week, no jacket. I tried contacting customer support since I am leaving Germany soon and I would like to get my money back, and despite me sending them ALL of the informations in the PayPal transaction they keep finding all these extra infos they want from me that I did not even pay attention to when giving out the order since it did not matter. They keep asking me for a customer account number despite having ordered as a guest, for adresses and post codes despite having sent them transaction ID and all what is needed for them just to press the "Cancel" button on their side of PayPal. Basically I am starting to believe they will never give me my money back for a product they did not sent me.

Avoid Louis for purchase

I have purchased Cardo comm from Louis and unfortunately, one of the two units is not working properly; it does not transmit any sound to the other device.

I contacted Louis customer service several times, but I’ve received no real support. They repeatedly asked if I had updated the device, which I confirmed I did — yet the issue remains unresolved. I deeply regret choosing to order from Louis.de, as well as selecting a Cardo product, especially since I needed this system for an important motorcycle trip.

Now I’m trying to return the defective item, but Louis is asking me to cover the shipping cost — which is almost as expensive as the device itself. This is very disappointing, considering that they sent me a faulty product and are refusing to take responsibility.
Avoid to purchase from them at any cost, there are many web sites with moto gear around to choose. I would put 0 starts if it would be possible. Battle is still ongoing, I have contacted Cardo directly and waiting for response...

poor experiance shipping to spain

Ordered a heavy packet to spain nothing but a headache since the order. they delivery half the order, half gets sent back. They do not send the remaining part of the order express, they wait until the order is send back to them then send it standard. DHL redirect to a depot 2 hours away and louis fail to even find out and confirm the collection address with me or even properly rearrange a delivery. they constantly input the address wrong despite me sharing explicit instructions. I have been waiting for over a month and have got half my order and a huge headache. Bad customer service I feel do not care. never again

Rukka Jacket - Great Value

Recently bought a Rukka jacket at a fantastic price as it clearly states duty / taxes to UK will either not be charged or refunded . I did get stung by ParcelForce for £90 but a quick call to Louis.De and proof of paid duties got this refunded within a couple of days. Brilliant. My gripes were with the couriers who took 4 days to send me a letter to tell me they were holding it pending tax payment.

Disaster service

Disaster service, this is the last time I order from them. A different person answers every email inquiry. A product that is available, ordered, paid for, is not sent even after 7 days, even though the maximum deadline is 3 days. They open shipping on the 7th day but do not hand over the shipment. And when they send, even though they are told to inspect before sending, you get already used or exhibition, not new.

Watch out for this company,
Placed order a month ago, haven't received anything. The parcel clearly is returned to them by DHL itself. They tell me to wait and wait never helped me out.

Attention to potential customers in the U.K

Potential customers in the U.K. need to be aware that the company’s claim to refund any import duty is by my own experience a bit slow. The telephone staff are polite and courteous but they can only do so much.
I still recommend the company but please be aware.

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service. One of the parts arrived weeks late. Not to mention use of a debt collection agency if you fail to pay their invoice in time - which I only paid late has believed I had paid by credit card. I accept the error on my side, but selling products not in stock, and bullyboy payment tactics are not what you would expect for the motorcycling community. Never again.

Multiple purchases and no problems

I've bought several items from Louis and never had any issues with delivery to the UK or cost, they tend to be much cheaper than UK shops and we should all be asking why.
Ordering, tracking and delivery is regularly updated and only once, with this last order, did I get charged customs fees- UK vat was charged, maybe by an over zealous customs officer seeing as Louis are UK vat registered and I'd paid vat on the item already.
No problem, I sent proof of the charge and the payment to Louis and they refunded in full within a few days.
Don't forget, politicians put the red tape in the way of trade, Louis are trying to work with that and in my experience over several purchases they do so fairly and efficiently and on this last purchase alone, over £100 cheaper than the nearest UK price.
I'll use them again, no worries

Quick delivery and repayment of charges.

Ordered a Cardo and had to pay customs and vat BUT Louis were perfect to their word! Send a photo of the charges to them and received payment in 2 days! Perfect product, quick delivery, and fantastic service! Rarely do we see this standard of customer service in the UK. We’ll done Louis, I will be back!

Louis Motorrad tell us about vat duty

just to let anyone in the u.k ordering from this company you will be charged Despite goods clearly advertised as VAT and duty paid for UK customers, items were retained by parcel force pending payment of VAT and duty!!
Customer services contacted for advice and I was asked to pay since then louis has paid for my customs duty and updated there website I have changed Mt rate from one star 🌟 to 4 .. they refunded my difference and it should have been a 5 star 🌟

Although my first visit wasn't good, the store manager made it up with me and therefore gets a 10/10!!

First visit was a disaster because they sold me a ladies jacket instead of a males jacket. Because I live like 60km away from the store I asked for a compensation because it was clearly their fault and so I had to go back to exchange it and do another 120km.
The store manager, Tim I guess, was very kind and agreed to give me discount on what I purchased. So I went back to the store and Tim himself accompanied me the whole time searching another jacket . He really was very patient and gave me a lot of advice about what I should consider when buying a jacket. I surtenly saw his intentions to make it up with me so he would have, despite what happened, a satisfied and happy customer! He also gave me the discount as promised. Thx Tim you admitted you guys made a mistake and you wanted to make it up with me. I surtenly will come back to your store next time!

Made an order more than one month ago, when it arrived to Spain it was returned to Germany due to lack of customs document, they sent it again...and today it was returned back due to the same reason for the second time, so I´ve requested a refund

500€ helmet came scratched and customer support is a mess

I bought a 500€ helmet and it came with multiple scratches, customer service has a new person in every new email i send and they all decide on different things.

For example, i was told they sent me a replacement helmet but that was not true, he referred to an order i had placed on a extra visor and told me it was my helmet replacement which it wasnt and he should have checked that.

Another one told me i wont get a replacement for my helmer and only credit to my account instead

Another one told me i could get a 30€, i then asked them if they can garantue the safety of the helmet and they just responded with “if you have any concerns with the safety of your helmet, please return it”.

I think its totally unprofessional of a company to lay that off on me and ask if I think its safe, it should be guaranteed safe when i receive it. Especially when were talking about something so crucial as you helmet.
