Terrible customer service

I had a very disappointing experience with Doppelgänger regarding their return policy.

I purchased two suits in-store and shortly after bought the exact same two suits online (plus one more). This left me with duplicates, so I tried to return the in-store suits. To my surprise, I was told I could only receive vouchers, not a refund.

The problem is that online purchases are refunded directly to the original payment method, but in-store purchases only result in vouchers. This creates a frustrating loop: if I use the voucher to buy the same suits online and then return them, I would get a refund so the policy only wastes time and money for both the customer and the company.

I reached out to customer service to explain this clearly, but I only received the same rigid answer, with no flexibility or effort to resolve the issue in a customer-friendly way.

This experience shows a lack of consistency between in-store and online policies, and very poor attention to customer satisfaction. For a brand that positions itself as premium, this is unacceptable.

I will think twice before shopping here again.

Awful experience

Awful experience. I don't care about their FAQ or policy, their policy doesn't make any sense!

I already had another suit both from the little ganger. He is the same size. It still fits me perfectly but the wonder that being sent without fitting like usual at all before I had to send it back. But because they have a local return policy I needed to spend $50 send the package back and receive the other 130$ refund. This is terrible. Don't event expand in another market if you can't afford to service your customers properly.

I rarely spend time writing negative reviews but in this case, I would do it over and over again, especially if they brand don't even make an effort to acknowledge it.

Acireale Doppelganger

I entered the Acireale store of Doppelganger looking to buy a shirt that would suit me. All the shirts were nicely displayed on shelves and some were hanging on hooks presumedly for customers to try on. When I asked to try on a particular shirt that was on a shelf the assistant kindly unfolded the shirt as there was not a try on on the hook in my size.
Trying the shirt on I decided that I did not like it...so I handed it back to the assistant and notified him that I would not buy it....with that came the rude comment ..."WHY DID YOU MAKE ME UNFOLD IT"
I have ALWAYS thought that the assistant is there to assist and NOT TO MAKE SARCASTIC REMARKS TO POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS.
I WILL NEVER ENTER ANOTHER DOPPELGANGER OUTLET until they are trained to assist and serve customers properly.

Very good!

Whenever I visit Rome

Whenever I visit Rome, I bring an extra suitcase for the new wardrobe that I will purchasing from Doppelgänger. I have an addiction to this store that I cannot deny. This last trip that I made last week reaffirmed my lasting love for this company. My favorite location is 174 Piazza Venezia.Via Cesare Battisti 120 B-C 00183 ROMA. I bought a suit there. The service there is always excellent.
I have two true loves in Rome. My first love of corse is for my lady. The second is for Doppelgänger 🩷🙌🏾🩷🥰

Poor quality and bad customer service

Moderate prices, but poor quality. I bought a jeans for €50 which ripped apart when kneeing down after just one week. The customer service would not want to see a production issue and offered me a 15% discount code. This is a joke!

The store was in tip top shape and items were easy to view. The prices were very reasonable and I was thrilled with the two suits and vest i selected.
