Passed my Part 3 yesterday after 2 previous attempts Andy was recommended to me from numerous PDI’s. I cannot praise Andy highly enough.His knowledge, understanding and method of coaching is on another level. I would not have passed without him. He gave so many light bulb moments lost count. Honestly make Caledonian and Andy your first choice for training, if you don’t you’ll end reaching out the them at some point on your journey .

After failing my first attempt at part 3 Andy stepped in to mentor me. The knowledge and coaching from Andy helped me transform and I passed on the second attempt. He’s so quiet in the back of the car watches everything and the debrief at end is very informative. Even though I’ve passed I still have Andy come to monitor and advice and use that as CPD. Highly recommended.

Andy mcfarlane was a great teacher..highly recommend him..helped me pass my part 3 and become a fully qualified Driving instructor..

I passed my test 3rd time with 1 minor with the excellent help of Pauline McCabe. She made every lesson and lead up to tests so much easier with her calm reassuring words and her chats about her mum, holidays and her new dog, creating a friendly learning environment where you know you’re safe to make mistakes. Pauline is a lovely person who it’s obvious to see that she just wants the best for you and will adapt her teaching style to your availability and personality and over all comfort on the road. She got me from hating the thought of driving to being a confident driver in just under 2 years. It took so long because of the DVSA’s test’s wait times but it was worth it in the end. I can’t thank her enough and i wouldn’t be here without her help :)

I took training with Stewart at Caledonian as a PDI really positive experience I passed in August 2025, I decided to become a driving instructor because I want the roads to be a safer place for everyone and I am really happy I had Caledonian training me as I feel that is very much their goal as well. I would highly recommend them if you are considering becoming a driving instructor.

I done my part 3 training with Caledonian LDT, Stewart was my trainer, I had already passed part 1 & 2 by myself which is not the way Caledonian normally do driving instructor training but Stewart accommodated me and made me a personalised training plan.
The training was excellent as I knew it would be I didn't want to go with a big national company, I passed my part 3 on the second attempt and I am now a fully qualified driving instructor with Caledonian

Started off at a large national school training as an instructor. Switched across to Caledonian to do a trainee license & my part 3. I can definitely say it was the best decision I could have made. Went from being just another number to being given excellent first class training. Support given was fantastic, from Lauren in the office to incar with Andy. I only wish I had started my training with Caledonian at the very start as I feel it would have been hugely beneficial. I would recommend any potential instructors out there to sign up with Caledonian. A great company to work for and train with. The potential to continually learn & grow is amazing. Never standing still always looking to push foward.

Failed my test twice previously before changing instructor to Amanda. Finally passed my test today . Could not thank Amanda enough. Honestly feel like I couldn’t have done it without her. She was so patient , made me feel so comfortable and took any nerves away. Was so good at breaking things down and making me understand things so much clearer Couldn’t rate Amanda as an instructor any higher.

My lessons were very good as my instructor made me feel comfortable when driving and was very helpful when teaching me and this made me look forward to my lessons I would recommend to anyone

After my second part 3 fail I knew I had to change something. From reading amazing reviews I turned to Stewart. We had a few sessions and online course which was invaluable. Stewart broke everything down, made sense of some issues I was having and helped me today to secure an A grade at my final attempt at my Part 3. Cannot thank you enough Stewart, will be back before my SC to polish those skills again.

I have been an ADI in the past and contacted my previous training manager who recommended Caledonian Learner Driver Training. I spoke with Stewart and the rest is now history.

Kirsty was my training manager and helped me with my bad habits 🫣 for my Driving test and supported me with the skills required to pass my Part 3.

Kirsty was patient, knowledgeable, interested and keen to ensure I was capable to pass each test.

Kirsty and others at Caledonian have been incredibly helpful and supportive and I would recommend Stewart and his training managers to anyone who would like to become an ADI 🙂

Pamela is a fantastic instructor and I can’t recommend her enough. She’s a really calming presence and a wonderful teacher and I’m so glad I booked in with her!

Cannot recommend Pamela enough. A million times THANK YOU! Being pushed out my comfort zone yet was made to feel so at ease. I struggle at times with anxiety and Pamela has helped my confidence massively in both driving and in general. I was able to openly talk about anything I was finding tricky during lessons without feeling embarrassed and always came away from my lessons with a big smile. Will miss our chats! Highly recommend. Thank you for being such a great teacher 🚙❤️

I contacted Caledonian on the run up to my ADI part 3 test. Stewart’s video explanation on the 17 competencies was such a great help. Excellent format, invaluable content and in nite sizes pieces to work through at your own pace.

I started Caledonian Driving Instructor Training last Year. Mark was my training manager. Thanks to his training and knowledge, I am a driving instructor now. I don't have any words to express his training and assessment skills. He is a brilliant ADI Training instructor. In addition to Mark, Stewart, Andy, and Lauren from Caledonian supported me throughout my journey. Caledonian has a fantastic team to teach and encourage anyone to pursue a career as a driving instructor.

After not a great start to my learning, Ally @ caledonian LDT put my mind at ease and increased my confidence from day one. Ally was extremely professional & knowledgeable. I can't fault my experience at all. 10/10 instuctor. Passed first time with Ally.

Great training & support

I joined Caledonian to start a new career as a driving instructor.

Andy has been my trainer from the start, and he helped me with my part 2 test and, subsequently, my part 3 test.
He’s got a great teaching style and he is a great coach.I can't recommend Andy enough. I trusted him from the start, and I’m now a fully qualified ADI.

I also received amazing support from Lauren to get me clients for my trainee license.

I’ve recently passed my Part 3 and would like to thank Andy & Stewart for all the help and training provided. It was a long process in getting to this point but they stuck with me and helped me through it. For me,coming back to driving lessons after +30 years and selecting Caledonian was a great experience during these last two years and this was down to my instructor Pauline Hannigan.
I cannot thank Pauline enough for her patience, guidance, understanding and general overall professionalism shown towards myself.
Pauline, your calmness and encouragement helped me overcome the anxiety and frustration I sometimes felt during lessons, ( remember those lessons)...
