Buyer beware
Buyer beware! In August 2021, we purchased a 2008 Seat from this dealer. At the time of purchase we asked if the vehicle had been in any accidents, and the answer received was 'no.' That was a lie. If Aaby was unaware of the accident, they should have said they didn't know. Now, one year after purchase, continue to have issues with the air conditioning, the windows and the window washing system. We have taken the car to a professional mechanic that is not associated with Aaby, and have been informed of additional mechanical issues that had not been addressed by the dealership and are the results of a collision. Over the first 3 months of ownership of this car we returned to Aaby for repair to the air con, the rear window washer, the windows. The work done can only be described as poor, as all of the original issues we asked Aaby to address were improperly repaired. Now, a year later, we continue to address the air conditioning issue, the rear window washing system still does the air conditioning system, and 2 of the automatic windows are stuck open need to be replaced (no, the problem is not a simple fuse).We paid Aaby 36,000 krone for this car and will be lucky now to sell it for 1,500. If you do decide to purchase from Aaby, please do yourself a favour and insist on a thorough assessment of the vehicle by a reputable mechanic of your choice.
