They are out of order.
I called for my washing machine. First they said they will send me and engineer the day after as an urgent matter. I wasn’t at home after 12pm. I told them. They send it at 14.30. I called again. Waited half hour to get connected booked again after 3 days! The engineer came after the slot they give me. I wanted indoors all day! To not missed again them. Well. He’s arrived 2h later then the slot assigned. When arrived he said that he couldn’t find parking and he left without a word. I was shocked. So I’m still with washing machine broken, after more then one week. Customer service is inefficient and you can trust their service. Horrible experience. This company should be shout.
Worst washer ever!!
We purchased a Whirlpool washer and dryer from Home Depot for our new home. We had Home Depot install both items. My wife decided to wash clothes 4 days later. The washer flooded our new house. That was just the beginning. I have been trying to get them to pay for the repairs to our new home since April 5th and haven’t received a penny. They blamed Home Depot and then their suppliers. Whirlpool is responsible for this damage and continues to try passing it on to someone else. I will never purchase any Whirlpool products of any kind again. They have proven to have the worst customer service in the industry. They make Maytag as well. Don’t buy Whirlpool products!!
Call out repair service really bad
Call out repair service really bad. Engineer cancelled twice on same day and then aborted job saying I was not home but I was. Trying to resolve using chat and telephone calls was a nightmare. TERRIBLE SERVICE

I am writing to formally address my concerns and dissatisfaction regarding service request number COC16012476529, originally raised on January 16th, 2024, with Hitech Engineering Kottayam , Whirlpool authorised service centre on a faulty Whirlpool A/C.
The service person came to my home and took the A/C for repair then they provided a quote for 12k , almost half of the purchasing cost. However they haven’t repaired or delivered for nearly 8 months even after I followed up and send multiple followup emails to Whirlpool customer center. After almost 1 year they delivered the A/C un repaired after further escalations . However, upon inspection, I discovered that the PCB board and bushes were missing, and the tubes inside the AC had been removed. I cannot now get it repaired with another service center.

I wish I could rate 0 star. I have a washer and dryer, which is brand new, used for 2 months. But now it has stopped working. I made a call for a service appointment. They put me 10 days after. I couldn't dry my clothes. At the date, no one has come for the service. I tried to call multiple numbers of Whirlpool, but no one answered, although it is a weekday (Thursday).

Issue: The plastic sppiner tub has been damaged, causing the washing machine to malfunction during the dry spinning cycle.
I contacted your customer service and was informed that the plastic tub is not covered under warranty. However, considering that the washing machine has been in use for only 1.5 months, I believe this could be a manufacturing defect rather than an issue caused by misuse. The fact that the damage occurred so soon after purchase suggests a possible fault in the materials used or a manufacturing defect.
Request for Resolution:
Since the product is still under warranty, and this issue seems related to a defect, I kindly request a resolution. I would appreciate it if Whirlpool could consider this issue under warranty and provide one of the following:
Replace or Repair of the damaged plastic tub at no cost to me.

I have a two year old Whirlpool…
I have a two year old Whirlpool refrigerator with an ice and water dispenser in the door. The dispenser stopped working in June. I have a warranty. I called service and they came to view the problem and ordered a valve replacement. When the valve arrived, they replaced it, but that did not fix the problem. They sent a technician that was more familiar with the product, and he said the filter had to be replaced. This was back in early August. I have waited more than three weeks since then, and every time I call Indesit they tell me the part is “on order” and they have no news or no idea when this common part will be available. I have been without a solution for the entire summer. I can’t get a call back from Indesit, and when I call Whirlpool, they do not respond other than to tell me to call Indesit. Worst customer service I have ever encountered. I suggest that you avoid Whirlpool appliances in Italy - if you have a warranty issue they don’t respond, call back, or give any indication of when the product will be repaired.

We purchased a Whirlpool refrigerator in March 2025, and unfortunately, it’s been a frustrating experience ever since. From the start, the second shelf has consistently frozen our food—despite four separate service calls to fix the issue. The problem still persists.
On top of that, the original refrigerator door arrived warped from the factory. The first replacement door they sent was damaged in transit, and while the second one finally arrived, it was improperly aligned—the refrigerator and freezer doors do not line up, and the only solution offered was to adjust the fridge door as low as it could go, which still didn’t resolve the issue.
To make matters worse, Whirlpool’s customer service has been extremely difficult to work with. The representatives we’ve spoken to have been consistently unhelpful and unpleasant, making an already stressful situation even more disappointing.
We expected better quality and support from a well-known brand like Whirlpool. Sharing this in hopes that others are aware and that Whirlpool reconsiders how it handles customer concerns.
A lot of our food is freezing and getting thrown out. We have a family member that has refrigerated medication and if that freezes there will be BIG issues with whirlpool.
Poor Service, No Accountability, Refused Escalation
I’m extremely disappointed with the customer service I received regarding my Indesit washing machine. After the machine caused damage to my clothes, I contacted customer service to make a claim. Although the company had a full service history and confirmed an engineer had inspected the issue, they refused to accept responsibility, stating the damage was due to incorrect use—despite there being no evidence of misuse.
Worse still, I was repeatedly refused the chance to escalate my complaint to a manager, and my emails went unanswered. When I phoned customer service, I was simply told to "refer to the email" in a letter I had already responded to—with no further help offered.
This experience has been frustrating and unacceptable. I’m now being forced to escalate this issue to Citizens Advice and Trading Standards, which no customer should have to do just to be heard.
I expected far better from a brand like Indesit (and Whirlpool UK), but their lack of accountability and refusal to engage leaves me unable to recommend them.
Whirlpool/Maytag Has Seriously Degraded
This is no longer the Whirlpool/Maytag of years past. I’ve had the worst warranty experience of my life with them. A brand-new washer/dryer set, less than six months old, started having major issues. Three technician visits later, nothing is resolved. No clear timeline, no accountability, just endless inconvenience.
Customer service is abhorrent: long hold times, no real support, no escalation. It’s clear this company has experienced serious degradation in quality, reliability, and care for its customers. I will never buy another Whirlpool or Maytag product again. And I’ll make sure others are warned.

Failed after one year
Bought a brand new washing machine, just after a year it's stopped working. Contacted them, they said because you didn't registered they wont repair it. horrible company, unreliable products and horrible customer service, if I knew this before I wouldn't pay 500+ for it.
3 engineers said nobody was home when…
3 engineers said nobody was home when they arrived yet someone was on each occasion. I asked for the product to be written off as it has been repaired more than 4 times and got told no it has to be repaired. An engineer has been out today (05/06/25) and yet the product is still faulty
Supervisors NEED to work too
When you call in, say you have an extended warranty already so you get helped faster. Always ask for a supervisor ;) never settle for less. They fired their warehouse inspecters so they wouldn't have to pay them, and they just want all agents focused on sales. They will ignore reason for the issue to avoid sending technicians. They are the worst company, and they do not care about you or the employees. Guess who the enployees take it out on? You guys. They have supervisors in there on their phones doing nothing all day and being paid for it. So always ask for the supervisor. You all follow a trend instead of researching before you buy. You won't get a refund. 😂 but you can act now and seek revenge :)
Whirlpool Dishwasher is terrible....
I bought a Whirlpool dishwasher last year and the only brand I could get in white. After having a LG dishwasher I was extremely disappointed in its performance. I am not satisfied with whirlphool anymore and never buy the whirlphool product in future and boycot this product in my life and ask my contact to boycot this because of poor service.
I have done the complaint through customer care and Mr Saif send someone at my home to repair it. Before start all this things have asked to technician as well sre you repaired or not he said yes we do everything. Then he check the grill normally like me and he said the cooling coil is damage and my ac is new its 3yr old only how come cooling coil was damaged in 3 yr. Then he said my work is only generating the report not do repairing then am shocked how his statment is changed customer is not fool he said another guy was come again and done the repairing.
Technician do call to Mr Saif and explain the issue and saif is listening to me and behave very rude he needs to listen customer first but he is not now i am frustrated with them to boycot this.
I have do patience and ask him to leave it now because its 1 o clock and nothing repaired in 2 days. My family is struggling due to whirlphool bad product.
I am going to raise consumer help and boycot as well on social.

Hob broken when arrived, 1 hour on the phone to arrange engineer visit
This is my first ever purchase from Whirlpool. The induction hob immediately had a fault, and I spent a full hour on the phone, just to arrange an engineer visit. When the engineer arrived, he said he didn't have the right parts to repair the hob, and didn't provide any info about next steps. I spent half an hour trying to get through to a real person at Whirlpool to get an update. I also made a complaint, and was told (verbatim) "at our company, we don't get back to customers who make complaints ... everything is done internally, so you won't hear anything back from us". (As a follow up - I have now had 3x engineer visits - one of the engineers was amazingly rude, but the others were friendly. The hob still occasionally switches itself off, but Whirlpool insist they can't find a fault with it. I'm trying to liaise with them, but atm I'm stuck with a faulty hob that they don't want to fix or replace.)
