Only issue is I wanted my donation to be credited to Wheels for Wishes NE Carolina chapter (Captain Steeve’s project). I was never advised if this happened or where my donation went.

Everyone I dealt with was friendly and helpful. Everything went smoothly and extremely timely. The customer service was great and I would definitely donate to this association again.

Super easy to donate my beloved car of 20+ years. Communication was great and it's nice knowing the car can make one last contribution.

Great experience

The whole process from beginning to end was very fast, smooth and efficient. I made an initial inquiry, received a response right away, and set up a date to have my vehicle picked up. They showed up on time and hauled the car away. I had paperwork mailed to me and then once they sold the vehicle they provided me with the documentation of the sale, including the sale price. I appreciate being able to help a local organization service our community.

Thank you so much for your donation, and I’m sorry to hear you were disappointed with the final value. I completely understand how that would feel.

Looking at the notes, it appears your vehicle was listed as “AC needs attention, starts intermittently, hasn’t been driven in over a year, very clean but needs some TLC.” Because of that, the auction value ended up a bit lower than expected. The vehicles are sold through auction, and the final amount is determined by fair market value at the time of sale.

We truly appreciate your generosity in supporting Make-A-Wish Illinois, your donation helps bring joy to children in your local community, and that impact is what matters most.

Thank you again for contributing to such an important cause.

Hi Willie,

Thank you for your generous vehicle donation. I checked into your file and can confirm that the initial receipt confirming receipt of your donation was emailed to you on September 2, 2025, at 12:36 p.m. Sometimes those messages can end up in junk or spam folders, so please check there as well.

Looking at the notes on your file, it appears you have already been made aware of the title issue, which was caused by errors on the back of the title. Our records show that we have been in contact with you and that you agreed to sign the new Power of Attorney forms so the title can be corrected and processed.

Rest assured we are actively working on it and will send your final tax paperwork as soon as the sale is complete if it should sell for over $500. If it sells for under $500, the preliminary receipt that was mailed 09/02 is all you need for your tax purposes.

Thank you again for your patience and for your generous donation.
