Worked with Bev Hutchinson. She is skilled, and working with her is very comfortable.

After having many therapists, I decided to try Wellin5. The therapist Mely Sio, is the best one I have ever had. She is very knowledgeable and very efficient. She is the best therapist I had to help me to deal with trauma and anxiety. Her techniques are really working and I feel much better since I've been working with her. The site Wellin5 is very easy and friendly to use. I recommend this site to everyone who is searching for a more convenient way to do therapy.

Really liked my therapist. Good suggestions for coping with trauma which I’ve started putting into practice.

It is always great to speak and get help from the professional rather then leverage all your stress on your friends or family members

When I fell upon Well In 5, I liked that is Canadian. I gladly entered my intake survey and was happily surprised to see that I was connected with a counsellor who had availability within 24hrs.
Once connected, what I most appreciate is being able to ask for feedback, ideas and resources. (Some counselling professionals will say ‘You will do most of the talking; I do not provide tips or advice’). Therefore, it is easy to be open and talk.
All subsequent booking, billing and tech support has been efficient and straightforward.
For these reasons, I have been sharing just what a great offering that Well In 5 is.

The counsellors are good, but the platform itself is annyoing, the video calls are low quality and glitchy, and the support team can be very hard to reach when you run into issues with anything. Do not recommend.

I really value the accessibility of online counseling that Wellin5 provides. Whether I'm traveling, volunteering abroad, or at home, I can access my counselor from the convenience of my phone or laptop!

I appreciate the ease of booking my appt, how quickly I am sent the invoice in order to be reimbursed by my insurance and of course appreciate my counsellor and how helpful she has been in helping me navigate life and it’s ups and downs!

Very pleased with Mely. She is a great help with my problems, and we have a good rapport.

Mely at Wellin5 helped me through a very difficult part of my life. I found Wellin5 through a google search and contrary to anyone available locally, Mely was available the next day. She was kind, competent, knowledgeable, and worked me through my issue. To top it off, the price was reasonable. I am extremely grateful.

I experience two sessions with the same therapist. The challenge with therapy is that the first two sessions are primarily about creating a set and setting for both the therapist and the client, and there is a process of determining if things are the right fit. The sessions themselves were fine; there was a sense of comfort for having spoken my mind to a source that is outside my inner circle; however, during the second session, it sounded as though the session was being held in an open room with a roommate or partner present in the same room rummaging around or puttering.
At the time, I chalked it off as relatively benign and something I should not be upset about. However, as time has passed (just shy of three months), I have reflected on this experience somewhat frequently and feel these concerns should be brought forward.
As previously mentioned, there is an established relationship between the therapist and the client during these sessions, and it is of paramount importance that this setting creates a safe space for the sharing of sensitive information in the pursuit of better mental health. Knowing that steps have not been taken to prevent potential eavesdroppers is profoundly troubling and is a critical violation of the expectations for confidentiality.
Since that time, I have opted out of therapy with the wellin5 platform and currently all forms of therapy. While I can respect the communication style and abilities of my therapist, these peripheral concerns are unacceptable and must be addressed.

Edit: The well in five team very quickly responded to my concerns and investigated the circumstances. Following their investigation, they did manage to determine that my concerns were in fact benign and the counsellor expressed an apology to these circumstances.
While the online platform may not be fit for me at this time, I am very grateful for the diligence and effort that was put into following up these concenrs.

I have a great counselor but rebooking if an appointment is cancelled by me or her is an exercise in frustration. Your system needs to be improved

I’ve mostly enjoyed using Well In 5. I just wish the messaging service would actually become available, otherwise it seems like just a “dangling” promise that’ll never happen…

I really hate that. The timer is so heartless. You could be in the middle of going through something, and there’s absolutely zero forgiveness on the clock to wind things down in a way that is compassionate and empathetic for everybody. Instead of just cut you right off and your left to deal with the fallout.
In response to your reply; I do not feel it is necessarily the counsellors fault. Sometimes things happen, and again, your platform offers no “pause” to help the situations mentioned. Furthermore, your reply to my review is absolutely going the wrong way with what I was getting at.

I am finding my counselling very helpful.
My appointments are always on time and
I look forward to them especially during a very difficult time that I have been going through.
